@@manthe3711 I can’t say that they’re low effort though. Often he shows some very clean animations connected to real life objects and it looks real. That’s a lot of work. Here, of course, it was a lot more (maybe?…).

@@mtarnavskyi IIRC, Dave2D is an architect as his main job. He does CZcams as a hobby and doesn't depend on it for income. That's why he's able to criticise properly and a lot of videos don't hit the "mid roll ad length".
he should not do YT full time, a other full time 'actual' job gives him the freedom to dunk on brands when he feels like it.

@@aohjii the switches and side buttons are basically the same as other viper mice so why would he need to go over them? He wanted to talk about the unique features, not stuff everyone knows already
Love how it is so open with its design. Increasing the chances to get the crusty gamer juices stuck in the internals and you needing a new one because the old one quit working

Nah, the USB port will just stop working after a few months so you can't charge it. That's the quality of Razer.
And you have to talk it appart to clean it , at very least you'll get dust in there

Mg-alloy is tough and is also used in making the frame of most high-end professional cameras (Nikoon, Canon, Sony) that are supposed to take the rough and tumble of the wild. I remember having a 2012 Dell Vostro business laptop that had a Mg-alloy frame, and once it slid off a shelf about 5-feet high on to a hard cement floor. Only damage was a bent DVD drive that popped out and a slight crack on the plastic surrounding the charging port. Used it for 3-4 years and it worked like nothing happened. I still wonder how it survived being so much heavier by today's standards. Surely, built like a tank.
I remember playing games on my bulky Logitech office mouse. Me and my friends would get our whole PC setup to a place and play CS condition zero and NFS Underground on LAN. Now the things have changed so much with crazy expensive mouse and keyboards to make it way easier and it fascinates me how far gaming industry has come

The mouse market subreddit is tearing this thing apart. Don't get me wrong 280 is a ton of money if you're looking at just the mouse but like it also comes with a pretty neat case and some nice extras. Seems like a good chunk of the price went into the packaging as well
So 80 for the mouse and 200 for the packaging.

@@waxwastaken I feel the Finalmouse Starlight is way better. The only thing I see worth is the fact that you can use Razer Synapse. It's was cheaper on launch, and certain models are still cheaper than this new Razer product.
@@Real-Pot I own a starlight phantom and it's not a bad mouse my only complaint is the construction since it's multiple panels screwed on instead of one piece like how the mini se looks

So Finalmouse just announced their new mouse called Ultralight X which is said to be 29g to 30g. Finalmouse have some major QC issues, Im happy that mine hasnt experienced any so far. But since I had to get mine imported to the UK it cost me around £200 anyways. Razer are making the same weight mouse as the Starlight for abit higher of the price but hopefully better DPI deviation and better quality overall.
