  • Continuing on my VW GTI project, today with replacing the warn out rear stock rubber bushings with Delrin bushings from Lella Autosports. Installing these in the rear is allittle more involved that I originally expected but I was replacing my rear break lines and upgrading to coilovers so I ended up completely removing the rear axle beam to replace the bushings and that is what i would recommend for you.
The job is fairly straight forward except for removing the old bushings but if you use the method i showed in my video of burning them out then it will actually be quick and easy.
I'm not sponsored but you can checkout the bushings for yourself here:

There support has been responsive and helpful when I called about other parts I ordered. (Videos coming soon)

My mk2 has inconsistent negative camber, is it possible to shim it to make it look normal or do I have to replace the entire thing?

Yes, you can shim the rear with either the plastic shims or custome made metal units.

These are ones I've purchased but have yet to install.
