- It’s been over two years since I last saw an international act and even longer since I bought my Morcheeba tickets. But all good things come to those who wait and when Morcheeba finally walked out onto the Enmore Theatre’s stage they made that long wait well worthwhile. Skye Edwards and Ross Godfrey wowed the audience and I was lucky enough to have one on either side of me. There was a mixture of classics and numbers from their most recent album, ‘Blackest Blue’, released in the interval since this concert was first scheduled. Seven songs recorded:

A couple of comments about this video. The lighting was very dark with most of the stage backlit. This was very effective on the night but doesn’t make for the best recording conditions. I’m pleased that my camera managed to remain focused most of the time. And while being right up front is great visually, it’s never best for audio as vocals frequently tend to get drowned out by the instruments. Sadly, Skye’s beautiful voice has been somewhat lost, but Ross’ fabulous guitar work comes across sharp and clear. It’s always a case of give and take recording at live gigs. I hope I caught something of the night’s magic.

It was a brilliant show. Sadly, my recording doesn't do Skye's vocals justice at all. They were so much clearer on the night. That's what happens when you're videoing right down the front.
Omg, I just bought 2 tickets, I found out like 1 hour ago they are coming in 2 days and got the tickets right away, I'm freaking ooooouuuuuut. I'm fan since 1999 and have never see them, aaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!!!
While I've liked Morcheeba for a very long time, I was not a huge fan. But this concert was absolutely brilliant. I'm just really sorry that my sound quality doesn't do it any justice at all. Skye's voice was so much stronger and sweeter. Enjoy the show - I know you will.

It was a truly great performance. But I'm really disappointed with my sound quality. Skye's voice was wonderful. Such a shame you can't hear her properly in my video. Thanks for commenting.

Yes, you miss out on a lot of tours over West, but you do better than Adelaide. So often they do the east coast and fly across to Perth, missing S.A. altogether. This tour was part of Bluesfest (scheduled for two years ago). The Bluesfest add on concerts usually only do Sydney and Melbourne. Hopefully, next time Morcheeba tour, they'll do the whole country.
