- The Villain in your story is the equivalent to the motivation that gets you from start to finish. Handsome Jack is one of the glaring examples of how to execute on your antagonist nearly perfectly, and its no coincidence. This video showcases a few of the best villains I've come across and what they do right in their respective stories.

jack is basically everything that makes thanos cool in end game but has 2x the character development and is one of the funniest characters in any form of fiction
Ngl I love Jack as a villain, his story (Excluding the god awful way he was presented in BL3 but I’m not acknowledging that) is one of my favourite villain stories of all time. He’s got every trait that makes me love a villain and I’ll be honest- He’s not exactly wrong either
Right! The Pre Sequel is probably my favorite borderlands game because of how jack’s origin story is weaved into your story as well. Makes you feel for him when he goes crazy! Thanks for the comment 😎

I’m gonna be honest with y’all; Handsome Jack is not just the greatest Villains in gaming, he IS the best character I have ever seen!! The writing, the acting, the design, the gut punch of betrayal, the way he handles things, and the way he sees himself as a true hero; all freaking SHAKESPEARE to me!!!

Handsome Jack is by far my favorite villain and the only one to come close for me is Pagan Min from Far Cry 4 mainly because they are the same type of character as charismatic villains and both talk to the player over the radio its a much better way of keeping them there to antagonize the player without having them show up in a cutscene every few minutes in a scenario where you could've just beat the villain there like many games do
He is the only reason why I liked borderlands and I like him so much that I only beat the games that had him

No, I love Jack not only as a villain, but a character. I LIKE him. If I was in Borderlands I would side with him without hesitation. I hate Bandits and especially all those self righteous hypocrites called vault hunters.

Great video, and yeah I agree Handsome Jack is the best villain ever! I love him so much I couldn't bring myself to kill him at the end of BL2, I let Lilith do it 😅
BTW I have just one criticism; you don't play as a robot in Portal. You're a human woman, just saying.

And your point about being a human woman in portal is totally right, I honestly was mixing up my experience with portal 2 multiplayer being as you play as robots in that version.
