    I love how you don’t have to remove the caliper for the front. That’s a great design for a pad slap. I wish cars were like that. Great video with great angles

    Just replaced my front pads they came with shims already on them, still a good idea to grease them up a little and the slide pin. Did not take long at all to replace, probably total time about 35 minutes.
    This guy in this videoprobably did it in less time than me on the fronts.

    Need to keep an eye on brake fluid when retracting the pistons. Also, the pads didn’t look worn out. Clean and grease the pin so the pads don’t stick.

    Hi I appreciate your fast response on my first comment, but now I have a question. I have a 2017 spyder rts and I followed your video step for step. After completing I pumped the brake pedal and all that. I took the bike out and performed a series of quick stops, but I am getting a clicking or rattling noise coming from the front brakes.The noise gets louder when I step on the brake pedal. Do you have any idea what it might be or what I might have done wrong?
    Thanks

    • @MathieuTechMoto
      @MathieuTechMoto  Před 2 lety

      I would remove the wheels and fully inspect the front brakes, then turn the rotors while applying some brake with your hand to hear what is rattling

    Mathieu what is the “thing” that you turned clockwise with the long nose for the rear break, is it the piston? Does it come back to its original position when you press on the break pedal? Merci .

    • @MathieuTechMoto

      J'ai utilisé la pince pour visser le piston de l'étrier afin de le rentrer pour accepter les nouvelles plaquettes de frein qui sont plus épaisse
