I’ve always supported JKS as he is the best player from my region, but have never overrated him. I’m already just happy he’s won multiple tier 1 events, even if it’s at a time CS has been very weak. For a Australasia having a player win kato or cologne is huge, never would have expected those results

Being a life long football fan. Its not always about cheering for the best players and trashing the rest. Its about what you project into a Team/Player. I dont care how low my childhood team is failing - i will always root for them. Same with JKS. Good memories.

Very funny seeing the Nexa Stats bit just not match your narrative and the hard spin from there on out, I fully agree with the JKS sentiments you have but like clearly across the boards JKS stats are significantly better if you go to LAN stats, or if you look at how nexa drops well below a 1.0 rating against anything higher then top 20 opponents. Big fan of the rest of the vid and agree with the points, but that stats bit was a farce

The only reason i am disappointed they dropped JKS is his consistency. I am Australian and watched JKS play since 2014 and I'll admit, he's not a star nor is he a 'high rating' player. However, JKS rarely has blowout bad performances, rarely is he on the bottom and considering the role hes forced to play within G2 thats pretty good. Also I am in belief that JKS contract was higher than NEXAs offer, they took the difference between JKS and NEXAs contract and gave it to NIKO to convince him to stick around. Was JKS worth the contract he was being paid at G2? Probably not, but does he deserve a spot on a T2 team as a main fragger or T1 as another anchor. Absolutely.
IMO Navi dropping s1mple was the smartest move we've seen an org do. He was the best player in CSGO hands down, but we saw markeloff fail to make the transition from 1.6 to go, NEO struggled too. Skills are not so easily trasferred.

I think it’s super clear that Saudi wanted Niko and monesy in the first place, I specially remember at gamers8 they were telling niko how much they want to see that cologne performance and g2 winning the tournament. I don’t think niko went to them to first. Also, what was that interview from Zonic and falcons? Thing is that G2 requires a certain style of calling. And clearly the players don't mind hooxi bc if they didn't like him as igl they would kick him
The JKS for Nexa is mind boggling, the JKS role is a thankless job becauase you are playing all the shitty spots and you have to make it work. I can't wait to see how this all plays out
JKS doesn't play all the shitty spots , he is the Aps Player on inferno , he plays the A site on mirage , he is the B/mid lurk player on Vertigo , he is the ramp/lobby player on Nuke (these are the same positions that ropz , Ax1le and forzen play ) and he get a lot of praise doing an average job a lot of the time , So the move is ok , it is not an upgrade and it is hardly a downgrade , Nexa takes almost half the salary of JKS and 80% of his output if we look at their average throughout their careers .
@@stayhome4626the difference between ropz and frozen is that first they get more resources and freedom in their teams because they are the number 1 player in their team. Jks is the fourth best player on their team so he plays around his stars not the other way around if you looked at the katowice run jks was actually being set up pretty damn well but slowly faded away when hooxis set ups were read like a book because they were a top team. Though comparing him to ropz frozen magisk is quite delusional but ropz does also impact spots because karrigan made it that way ropz isnt an anchor in every map frozen either magisk is different because hes the best anchor to be. Also look at how axile has been preforming lately when too many stars are on the roster and hes not getting set up by nafany there is a big drop off. Those spots are harsh and when you have niko monesy hunter theres no reason for him to be a ropz just saying.

@@stayhome4626 but they are the shitty spots, your comparing anchors to rotators, i see it as an unforgiving role with harsh spots i dont think jks is better than ropz/axile/magisk/frozen far from it but if your telling me that if frozen axile and ropz wouldnt be 3-4 best player in the g2 core you would be crazy they would certainly be better than jks but i would bet that there would be a drop in their performance, there is a reason super teams dont work you need the “bitches” of the teams i doubt niko hunter and monesy would want to end up being the “bitches”. But still they would be significant upgrades to the team(but would also be a waste of their talents to be in this team). Whether he used it for leverage or not (which he 100% SHOULD as an adult with a family to look after), fuck me man, if I was Niko and I'm either playing for the sportswashing org or suffering under Hooxi, I'd be doing everything possible to secure the fucking bag too. Glad he stayed, but mainly because i think monesy going to falcons would be an absolute disasterclass for the cs scene.

Yes the core of G2 is amazing but let's not act like any of them are consistent apart from NiKo. m0nesy often has bad or average tournaments but when he pops off him and NiKo can carry. To say that jks "doesn't need to do anything" is just false. Even when having good games m0nesy has the tendency to go full aggressive and die, or just whiff an easy shot and die. NiKo as well is a very aggro player. The names on paper do make his job easier but it's still far from easy. If they're gonna bench jks I'd expect someone like kscerato, frozen or maybe even someone like Krimbo, I don't think nexa is the adequate replacement but only time will tell.

Hey Richard if you had an editor or maybe you do idk, your videos would garner a lot more viewership. It’s hard to watch full two hour streams in one sitting. If the videos from the streams were broken up and labeled about the particular topic it would be a lot more digestible. Lots of CZcamsrs who streak do this. Keep doing the good work this is just my two cents.

This video alone could be chopped up to three videos with different topics, especially the last video which was great but could have been chopped up. There is hardly any integrity left in esports journalism shortening the videos would help with algorithm and reach more people, especially people with short attention span. Again this is just my two cents I love the content.
I make long form content. I don't care if people don't have the attention span for anything longer than 10 minutes. They're not my audience.
