"a lot of y'all are worried that you might be at home for a while for the next few weeks" it's been almost a year 😢
Oh Lawd.:.:... this was dated :)
Two years and counting
Joke's on you, you never had to stay home in the first place
@@Carnefice we did because you didn't 👍
@@goos98 lol, no, that's not how it works. You didn't have to, period, full stop. You probably got COVID even though you stayed home. I didn't, and I didn't. But if you still believe your government and the TV after 2 years of this bullshit, there's probably not much point in any kind of discussion. Your NPC programming is unassailable.
It is so inspiring to hear you talk about comics with such passion.
Thank you so much. Seriously.
Absolute Watchmen is the best thing I own in all of my comic collection. I just wish my library shelves were big enough to hold it fully upright.
I put them on my Kallax.
No particular order:
- All Star Superman
- Punisher MAX run by Garth Ennis
- Sandman
- Hellblazer
- Arkham Asylum
- Superman Birthright
- Transmetropolitan
- The Fade Out
- Absolute Justice League
- The Matrix comics
Going to check out Starman for sure after seeing your reaction, stay safe everyone!
Stay safe, my friend and love your list.
The matrix has comics? I thought it was called the invisibles?
Transmetropolitan. Aah a man of culture i see
Great list
Thanks for another great video Omar! I added some titles to my to-read list. I just got back from an operation and watching Near Mint Condition is one of the great things about coming back home. So thanks again to the whole team!!
I hope the operation went just fine and you get to read all these awesome books.
Such great picks. I wasn't expecting to see so much I haven't read yet. Thanks, Omar!
Thank you so much for the kind words.
NMC is the only channel where I click the "Like" button before I even start the video. I know that the content is going to be great in each and every video I watch. This one was no exception... Thanks for all you guys do!
Thank you so much. You are too kind.
Great work as always Omar. I've not been able to read for a few months. But now that I'm bunkered down that will surely change ... great suggestions!
Thank you so much for watching and the kind words.
You've made me want to go and read my star starmans again. This series meant a lot to me too, so much so I got a tattoo based on it
One could tell how much Starman really means to you! I’d never heard about it before but will definitely try and get ahold of it now (I’ll read it digitally if that’s the only option). Great video as always :)
It really does mean alot to me. I hope DC makes the right calls and makes two real omnis out of these six HCs.
They released a Volume 1 Compendium this past August.
You have great taste, man! It's good you don't limit yourself to superhero comics, like most people in the US.
Thank you so much for watching and the kind words.
Wow, that was an emotional video! My top 10 is: Berserk; Pluto; Akira; Higurashi when they Cry; Sandman; The Incal, Tokyo Ghost; Bone; Kill or be Killed and The New Frontier
I love your list. Sometimes I can't help but talk how I really feel.
@@NearMintCondition that's what makes your videos so special. Keep the good work!
Congrats on the amazing video quality! Everything looks crisp and super-good:)
Thank you so much for the kind words.
Love the selection you offered there! Nice mix of the big two, indies and even foreign books. I was gonna pick up all of Sandman and Marvels anyway in April, but now you've gotten me REALLY HYPED for them. Also, GOD I wish they would re-release that Starman run in trades so I can read them. (As I said before I can't read HCs, cause they tend to break the magnifying glass I have to use for reading)
Thank you so much for watching and the kind words. I really hope they make Starman TPBs too, my friend.
Thanks so much Omar. I’ve come back into the comic book world after 30 years away from it. Wow, what a lot of content to catch up with! I’ve just finished the Hellboy library editions…I’m that kid again. 😊👍🏼
Thanks for another great video omar, your passion for these books and the medium really comes across
Thank you so much for watching and the kind words.
Great video with lots of great reads. This is definitely the time for everyone to stay home as much as possible and catch up on that backlog. And don’t forget about ComiXology if you can’t read physical!
Never forget about Comixology. Thank you so much for watching and the kind words.
Great list Omar. Love the passion. Couple of books I would add to the list...
1. DC New Frontier
2. Silver Surfer Requiem
3. Kingdom Come
4. Tom King's The Visions
There are just so many to choose from. Thanks again and keep up the great work.
There are some great books. Its so hard to choose.
you just reminded me of SS Requiem. i think i may have cried after reading that.
Kingdom come was phenomenal
Love SSR
Happy Birthday Omar!. Another wonderful video. Currently catching up on George Perez run of Wonder Woman b4 starting the Gail Simone run. I would love to check out Starman next and Uncanny X-men omnibus vol 3 will be on my list once its solicited.
I would love for everyone to read Starman.
Great list Omar my list would be:
-Marvels & Marvels Eye of the Camera
-The Metabarons
-DC New Frontier
-Daytripper
-Mind MGMT
-Black Hole
-DMZ
-The Invisibles
-Sin City
-Y the last man
Great list.
Wish you the happiest of birthdays Omar!much love from (almost quarantined)Greece!
I think i speak for all of us when i say it's almost like a friend's birthday!))) Stay safe
Thank you so much, my dear friend. You stay safe as well.
Maus was also read in my high school English class here on a military base in Germany. Loved it and still need to pick up my own copy
That’s what I love to hear!
Akira and Sandman are among my favorite books too, I'm still hoping for a Starman omnibus so I can check it out! I'd add Garth Ennis' run on Punisher Max and Fury Max, Hellboy and my personal favorite :Silver Surfer Requiem.
It's always a pleasure to watch your videos Omar, greetings from France
Thank you so much for the kind words and much love from America to France. :)
I have to say, I am super thrilled about all the Xmen omni reprints this year. Been wanting volumes two and three for a while! But also, just as much, I’ve been waiting for reprints of Amazing Spider-Man Omnis volume two and three. Hopefully we will see those in 2021! I picked up volume four when it came out in hopes to get around to once the others come back around in stock and when volume one came out I picked it up immediately and read through it very quickly. One of my favorites I own!
I'm hoping they come in 2021. :)
This was an amazing list! Definitely going to be checking out some of these!
Thank you so much for watching.
Now I want to check out Starman. Cool vid Omar. Happy Birthday.
Thank you, my friend.
Very good list!!!
I like that you meet in the list Starman, Eternaut and Don Rosas Uncle Scrooge.
Those mean alot to me.
Thank you. Put many of these on my to read list.
Thank you so much for watching.
Keep reading and stay healthy 👍🙏🍀🖖
Stay healthy my friend.
Great list Omar. I think I've only read half or less than of this list, I'll add some to my to read list. I hope I get out of them what you did
Thank you so much for watching and the kind words.
Good list! It was cool to hear some different picks that from other people's lists
Thank you so much.
Just what I needed. I'm relatively new to comics and graphic novels and I've only read 2 from this list. Much appreciated, man.
I'm so happy I could help.
I gotta go with:
-Watchmen
-Sandman
-Daredevil: Born Again
-Spider-Man: Kraven's Last Hunt
-Kingdom Come
-Batman: The Dark Knight Returns
-Saga of the Swamp Thing
-Batman: Year One
-Maus
-X-Men: God Loves, Man Kills
Great freaking list.

Great list -- stay minty!
Bromar, nice video. Wanted to write you to tell you officially happy birthday. Enjoy your day my dude. You and your family be safe. This man puts in work even on his birthday.
Thank you, my friend.
I like that most of your choices were upbeat books filled with hope. Great video!
Thank you so much for watching and the kind words.
Great video! If you're looking for more content ideas, I'd be really interested in some long-form videos covering your top ~100 comic series/runs. You don't have to "rank" them necessarily (though it'd be neat if you tried), but maybe think about which "bin" they fit in for you e.g. "personal favorite" > "great" > "good"
I love this suggestion. Thank you.
Great video as always.
Thank you so much for watching and the kind words.
LOVE your list.
Love the inclusion of farside! What a great video! Thanks for sharing!
Also what edition of Watchman is that?
I’m completely new to graphic novels. I heard of the Batman who laughs, saw the book and had to buy it. Now I’m got 6 graphic novels on the way. I’ve never heard of any of the ones you listed. I can’t wait to keep diving into these fun reads
My favorite stories…
Miracleman (Alan Moore run)
Daredevil: Born Again
Batman: Year One
Death of Captain Marvel (Marvel’s first graphic novel)
Watchmen
Dark Knight Returns
Wonder Woman (George Perez writer/artist)
I love these top tens I’ve been waiting for this one and did not disappoint especially since it’s graphic novels and ya I’ve been reading a bunch of book because of the virus
You stay safe, brother. :)
Maus is really the one graphic novel that got me hooked to reading graphic novels. Its pure magic :)
It is.
great video. i have a few of these on my next to read :) just bought the starman omnis 1-6, im not huge into superheroes, but starman looked interesting.
I'm glad you were able to get those Starman books.
I love many of the ones you mentioned. Footnotes in Gaza by Joe Sacco is a huge favorite of mine - it's comics journalism at its most powerful, detailing the tragedy of Palestine. That book gave me a new appreciation for the medium and got me back into reading comics regularly. Dragon Hoops by Gene Luen Yang comes out soon and thats hands down a new all time favorite for me, as well as being one of 2020's best graphic novels.
Thank you for the recommendations.
Love Jack Knight! I was lucky enough to get my V.1 HC signed by James Robinson and got Tony Harris to do a cool Jack Starman sketch inside. Both were great to visit with also, especially James, he's exactly like you'd expect, dude loves talking about old stuff, just like in the old Starman letters pages.
Great list Omar
Thank you so much for watching and the kind words.
Happy Birthday, Omar! Some great stuff in that list! Currently re-reading a lot of Sandman here these days, just got to the Emperor Norton story in the second Absolute. Gaiman's fantastic, doesn't matter if it's comics, novels, tv (Dr Who, Babylon 5) or "just" retelling Norse mythology. Guy can write.
I'd definitely add:
Donald Duck& Uncle Scrooge by Barks
All-Star Superman + Alan Moore's Superman
The Colossal Conan, especially Kurt Busiek's stuff
Tintin by Herge
Saga
Wonder Woman Rebirth (Rucka)
Batman DKR
Thank you so much for the kind words. Love your list.
I would also recommend:
-Locke & Key
-Sandman
-Deathnote
-Animal Man (Jeff Lemire run)
-Arkham A Serious House on Serious Earth
-Goodnight Pun Pun
-One Piece
-The Flowers of Evil
-Vinland Saga
-Uzumaki (Junji Ito)
All of these series have at one point or another helped me through a difficult time or in some specific cases, literally changed my outlook on things. I wouldn't be reading comics if it wasn't for Sandman showing me that they can be intellectually challenging works of art. Deathnote helped me shape my understanding of right and wrong as well as introduced me to the world of manga and anime. Uzumaki showed me that anything can be scary, even a natural geometric concept, it all depends on the skill of the writer to show you the fear in everyday life. Goodnight Pun Pun showed me how to deal with easily the darkest time in my childhood and how to move on from that trauma. All of the stories have been instrumental in shaping me as a person and when I'm old enough and want to start a family I will introduce them to my kids. I strongly believe that this medium is incredibly powerful thanks to its accessibility and I'm thankful for all the creators that go the extra mile to craft stories that can change people's hearts.
👍👍👍👍👍
Love those additions, brother.
Starting death note tonight ;)
@@goodnatureification you are in for a ride. Just remember, Kira did nothing wrong.
@@babylonshadows1877 you have good taste :)
I like all Junji's and Inio Asano's work. I would also add Naoki Urasawa and Takehiko Inoue. :)
Awesome video. Subscribed!
Thank you so much and welcome aboard.
Great video as always Omar :)
Thank you so much for watching and the kind words.
I just went and bought Marvels and 4 kids and ordered the others from my library. Thank you for the great video!
I really hope you enjoy them.
Sandman is the first comic book I specifically bought to start a collection, basically the beginning of my collection, but that was so long ago I forgot what it was about, which is great because I get to be mindblown by it all over again!
Happy Birthday Omar!
Thank you so much!
Lighting is great in this video! Better camera too? Looks great!
Thank you for noticing. :)
Nice video man, I like that there was some stuff I didn't expect on there it's not a typical top 10 list. That was surprising but even more surprising is no Batman???
I love this video gave me so many recommendations thanks
Happy birthday, Omar!
Best wishes.
Thank you, my friend.
Love your channel, Omar! I'm always glad when I'm notified you've dropped a new vid.
Thank you so much, my friend.
Just getting into comic books so this list was very helpful! Watchmen so far is my favorite
Glad it was helpful and Watchmen is phenomenal.
Just subbed. Great video gave a lot of ideas. Love your passion.
Thank you so much and welcome to the channel.
My list is Watchmen, Kingdom Come, All star Superman, Batman the dark knight returns, daytripper, Calvin and Hobbes, Marvels. And I forgot the rest. Anyway love you're Chanell man. Keep putting out videos. You deserve way more subs. Have a good day
Thanks for sharing and that's a great list.
Happy birthday Omar. Live long and prosper 🖖🏻
Thank you so much!
Nice video mate keep up the great work. Has some great graphics novel in the video
Thank you so much for watching and the kind words.
You are welcome
Great list, I’d probably include Kraven’s Last Hunt, Squadron Supreme, Superman For All Seasons, and some select Conan and Punisher stories.
Kraven's Last Hunt is phenomenal.
I actually ordered the Absolute Watchmen last Thursday. I hope it will arrive soon to enjoy it.
I hope you enjoy it.
- Akira
- Thorgal
- Vinland Saga
- Saga
- Jeremiah by Hermann
- Spirou and Fantasio
- Walking Dead
- Peter Pan by Loisel
- Aldebaran by Leo
- Lanfeust de Troy
I LOVE saga!
Great list. I really need to read Jeremiah.
Yeah, Loisel's Peter Pan is fenomenal. I need to reed it again :)
Aldebaran! Super recommended
Vinland Saga really drop the ball and become very boring later on where the MC had the memory lost.
glad to see sandman on the list. I think a very underrated graphic novel is elephant men, the finder and alien legion.
You know I have to finish the Elephant set. I have and only read the first two. Alien Legion is solid, but I haven't read The Finder.
Discovered your excellent channel a couple of days ago and I'm currently reading The Eternaut (so grateful for your suggestion!!) - the way it's written evokes The War Of The Worlds but with Juan Salvo's narration instead of Richard Burton.
Another series I would suggest is "The Motherless Oven" by Rob Davis. Its a trilogy but so far I've only read the first two books. Do you know about this series?
First of all, thank you so much and welcome to the channel. I haven't read Motherless Oven. But I'm going to look it up.
A respectable list! I'd like to know more about Scrooge McDuck. Have you done a video on this series?
I haven't, but thats something that I can work on.
Omar got sentimental at the end. Now I definitely want to check out Starman. Can't wait for his video on how much this story means to him.
That series means so much to me.
I am watching this 385 days later...still very much in quarantine and still very much enjoying my alone time. Thanks for the list!
Glad you enjoyed it. Crazy how fast time flies. :)
I would love to see more top 10 lists from you 👍🏻
And I will make them, since you asked. :)
Great video and a truly diverse list. Love seeing the best era of Uncanny Xmen by Chris Claremont on your list, which is always a requirement. I've heard of DC's Starman comic enough times in the past 10 to 15 years to be curious, but now man, you've sold it to me. I can feel it means a lot to you and I would like to track down Starman, in tpbs if they ever release them again in reprints.
I'll try to list some of my favorite graphic novels/tpbs of runs and mini series- in no particular order:
- Watchmen
- Uncanny Xmen by Claremont (especially Dark Phoenix saga, God Loves, Mutant Massacre, X-Tinction Agenda)
- Daredevil run by Frank Miller & Klaus Jansen & DD Born Again.
- Spider Man Kraven's Last Hunt arc
- Y the Last Man
- Kingdom Come (DC)- the greatest elseworlds story from DC easily, imo.
- Green Lantern run by Geoff Johns as a whole, is brilliant. But my personal favorite GL story is BLACKEST NIGHT. It is my absolute favorite DC event in main continuity. Hands down. I can always go back to reading blackest night and find new panels and pages that truly inspire. Such amazing art by Ivan Reis. :)
- Batman No Mans Land crossover and Scott Snyder's Batman stories like Black Mirror, The Court of Owls and Death of the Family.(yep, combining various arcs from Batman who has had like 55,000 stories..I'm kind of cheating adding in more than one Batman story as one entry. rofl)
- Annihilation event and Nova series by DnA. Also adding in Annihilation Conquest six parts.
- Captain America vol 5 by Ed Brubaker. The best Cap comic run of all time, bar none. Made me love Steve Rogers more than I ever did in the past, from the 80s & 90s comics. Made me love Bucky Barnes, Falcon and Natasha/black widow a bit more, too. It was outstanding up until issue 615 ish.
Honorable mentions:
Akira
Irredeemable by Mark Waid
Saga of Swamp Thing
Batman the Killing Joke
Batman Hush
Daredevil by Brubaker and the DD Bendis run(which I need to get BOTH omnibus' and finally read this great DD run in its entirety);
Xmen Age of Apocalypse saga (because it's just a milestone amazing event and pure nostalgia greatness for me)
Uncanny X-Force by Rick Remender
Astonishing Xmen by Joss Whedon
Avengers by Kurt Busiek & George Perez omnibus vol 1 (especially the best Ultron story ever #19-22)
Young Avengers vol 1
Maus
Wow..I really just can't name 10, huh! It's such a arduous task to only list ten. :P
First of all, thank you so much for the kind words. As you can see, its not the easiest task to do ten. :) I will be making another list for sure. :)
@@NearMintCondition Awesome. I look forward to it. It really isn't easy to list, lol. So many great books and comic runs out there, from many publishers. Keep up the great content and work.
I'm SO glad you included Starman. It's my number one, ever! (Well, tied with Sandman.)
It is one of the best books I've ever read.
Just ordered MAUS now off Ebay after watching this..please have mercy on my bank account Omar.. these vids are so Infectious..!!
I'm sorry. :) I hope you enjoy it.
@@NearMintCondition it was awesome..I've also bought black hammer and fear agent because of your recommendations plus theres quite a few on my wish list..!!!
Great list. I think you should videos doing top 10 books that changed DC, Marvel, and Manga. It can be 5 books that changed them for the better and 5 for the worse, just a thought.
I love this idea. Thank you.
With my own list, I'll go with :
Transmetropolitan by Warren Ellis & Darick Robertson ( and Rodney Ramos)
Sandman
Punisher Max by Garth Ennis
Fury my war gone by par Garth Ennis & Goran Parlov
Akira of course, damn book that made me think a lot about what was really possible to do in a comic book
Strangers in paradise by Terry Moore (and everything by Moore in in general), one the rare thing that actually made me cry (like the end of Silver Surfer by Slott & Allred)
Kingdom Come by Mark Waid & Alex Ross, or the best Superman story ever told. I really hope that Waid have a real shot to write Superman one day. I know he had problems with DC...but he's one of these writers who was born to write the big blue !
Planetary by Warren Ellis & John Cassaday
Watchmen by Moore & Gibbons. I agree, it's ...just perfect...Even if I prefer Top Ten (crazy book !).
But 10 is really hard, because I could choose the many incredible runs on Daredevil...X-Men (ahhh the Claremont run), JMS run on Spider-Man (my personnal favorite)
Everything by Urusawa or Mitsuru Adachi...Adachi's books are the ones I'm gonna read, when I'm down...
Ahhh so many damn greats books !
👍👍👍👍👍
GREAT GREAT list. Its so hard to make a list when just doing 10.
@@NearMintCondition Yeah, because each time you choose one, you have to exclude something else.
You are right. I loved Born Again by Frank Miller and The killing Joke by Moore. Stories that define a Character.
Bro all amazing and valid picks!
Thank you so much.
Love you Omar!
James Samaras much love back to you!
Great list. Tough to say entirely different titles, but mine would be (in no particular order): Watchmen, Sandman, Maus, Persepolis, Blankets, V for Vendetta, Incal, The Arrival, Blacksad - Arctic Nation, Mister Miracle (by Tom King and Mitch Gerads)
It was tough to make a list and consense it to just 10, but love those additions.
I feel your love for Starman. I collected it back in the day. Probably have the first 40 issues or so. I went looking for an omnibus recently and was shocked to find there weren't any in print.
Its a crime that they aren't in print.
Very well rounded list, I would also add Dan Clowes’ Like A Velvet Glove Cast in Iron, as well as Alan Moore’s From Hell. I’d probably swap out the Gary Larson with Calvin and Hobbes as well
My wife would swap out the Far Side for Calvin and Hobbes too.
Currently on a massive Moore binge and am deep into From Hell. It's immense and complex and has such a fascinating occult-ish take on the 'how' and the 'why' of things. Absolutely recommend to anyone looking for comics doing something a little different with the medium.
Nice list!
Thank you for introducing me with starman🙏
just ordered Akira after watching your video. Really want that X-men Omnibus.
Really hope you enjoy them.
Here's my list:
Sandman
Usagi Yojimbo
Hellboy
Underwater Welder
The Sixth Gun
The Long Halloween
Watchmen
Planetary
Dark Phoenix Saga
Johns Green Lantern
BONUS: Rachel Rising
Great list, my friend.
Missing berserk
After seeing the passion you showed talking about Starman, and the things left unsaid, I now want to read about it.
There is a Compendium coming out next year. :)
@@NearMintCondition Awesome, glad to know.
love this guys passion
Thank you! I appreciate it.
The Sandman, The Lost Girls, The Flowers of Evil, V For Vendetta, Monocyte, Golgo 13, Watchmen, Strangers In Paradise, Requiem: Vampire Knight, Batman (Hush, The Long Halloween & The Killing Joke)
YES Golgo and Flowers of Evil.
Far Side and Starman....two of my favorites of all time. I even loved those letter pages in Starman. Probably stemmed from my shared love for old, dusty things :)
YES SIR!!!
An excellent what to read while quarantined list, Omar.
Some other books that I would suggest:
DC: The New Frontier by Darwyn Cooke
All-Star Superman by Morrison & Quitely
Planetary by Ellis & Cassady
The Parker Novels by Richard Stark (Donald Westlake) & Darwyn Cooke
Y The Last Man by Brian K Vaughn & Pia Guerra
The Complete Calvin and Hobbes
We3 by Morrison & Quitely
Bone by Jeff Smith
Those are some great additions. Thank you.
I've only been reading comics for less than a year and don't get much free time to do so but Planetary and Locke and Key are what I couldn't put down.
Those are great books though.
Excellent list. I never read some of those like Maus. There are some major books that I just haven't read yet. I can only give my list based on the things I've actually read. If we're talking non omnibus collected editions, and only one volume, then in no particular order:
1. Justice by Krueger, Braithwaite, and Ross (probably my all time favorite comic)
2. Superman For All Seasons by Loeb and Sale (probably the most human-ifying Superman origin)
3. Aquaman: The Others by Johns and Reis (everything it did for Aquaman and Manta)
4. Long Halloween (ultimate crime/mystery thriller)
5. Green Arrow by Lemire and Sorrentino (some of the best comics I've ever read)
6. Saga of the Swamp Thing vol. 1 by Moore and Bissette (made me a lifelong ST fan)
7. a tie between Batman: Year One and Daredevil: The Man Without Fear (both written by Frank Miller)
8. I'm gonna including DC Universe: Rebirth #1 (Wally's quest and hug with Barry was single greatest moment in comics in 2016)
9. Superman: Secret Origin by Johns and Frank (my other favorite)
10. Green Lantern: Rebirth by Johns and van Sciver
Honorable mentions:
1. Immortal Hulk Deluxe Ed. vol. 1 (is making me a Hulk fan, want to get vol. 2)
2. Flash vol. 3: Gorilla Warfare (a wonderful cap to a great 3 volume story)
I actually had to stop reading Watchmen about halfway through because I hated it. I couldn't follow it, was confused, and somewhat bored. I did really like the movie though.
Great great list. You aren't the only one that has told me that about Watchmen. My cohost Maddie isn't a fan either.
1. Berserk
2. Harleen
3. Blackest Night
4. Uzumaki
5. GYO
6. Joker
7. Batman the killing joke
8. Batman the dark knight master race
9. V for vendetta
10. DeathNote
My top ten(in no order other than alphabetical)
- Archie vs. Predator by Alex De Campi and Fernando Ruiz
- Astro City: Life in the Big City by Kurt Busiek and Brent Anderson
- The Authority Book One by Warren Ellis and Bryan Hitch
- Calvin and Hobbes(any of it) by Bill Watterson
- Doom Patrol vol. 1 by Gerard Way and Nick Derrington
- Fantastic Four: Grand Design by Tom Scioli
- The Multiversity by Grant Morrison and a team of top-tier artists
- Powers Book One by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming
- Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow? by Alan Moore and Curt Swan (Also collects ‘For the Man who has Everything’ and ‘the Jungle Line’ by Alan Moore, Dave Gibbons and Rich Veitch)
- X-Statix: the Complete Collection vol 1 by Peter Milligan and Mike Allred
Love this list!
STARMAN!!! Nice! It’s still not appreciated or talked about enough. With all the crossovers and legacy and universe embracing & building, it really is a perfect example of a comic book series. One of 4 comics that ever made me cry. So special indeed.
Great list! Personally, if I’m going for “THIS is what the comic book medium is capable of”, I think Alan Moore & JH Williams’ Promethea has to be the medium stand-out.
I'll be reading the first part of maus for my college course soon.
Now that is awesome.
@@NearMintCondition I've been researching the 1954 Senate hearing for my senior thesis.
