I have no doubt about that, however when I looked into getting one, I realized there's only about 15 games I'd want to play that aren't available on the PS4 - which I already have. I think I'll check back in a couple of years when there are more games and hopefully the prices have dropped as well.

I sold my ps5 last year. I had it for a year, always owned a PlayStation but the ps5 just didn't draw me in to actually keep me. I still have my ps2 though
Also got my PS5 about 3 years ago. Miss the PS5 hype tho ngl. But I wasn’t able to fully experience it as i had a 1080p tv without any hdr. But it still was a pretty enjoyable experience for me despite of that.
To be fair the best looking games on any given system are always the ones released closer to the end of its life cycle. Examples: FFIX and Driver 2 for PS1; FFXII and Shadow of the Colossus for PS2; The Last of Us and GTA V for PS3; RDR2 and The Last of Us: Part 2 for PS4.
ps5 is a 600$ gaming pc with a decent controller that comes with it and a subscribtion is required to play online , exclusivities aside its a gaming pc for those who prefer plug and play to the point where they would rather pay more money on the playstation store and not be able to pirate games or play emulators or pc only games , have no upgradeability exept for an ssd , maybe some also want to play competitive games with a controller against others who use controllers, all these choices are personal there is no pc master race imo
It really is a culture-less generation, nothing but remakes, remasters, re-imaginings... the only thing that stands out about this era are the evil ideologies
Im just happy I got the spiderman version of the console however when the console released I was hoping they would wait a year because I knew it would be really impossible to get just not that it would take 2-3 years to stop being rare
I wish insomniac would make a new resistance fall of man game. One where you return as Nathan Hale. Maybe a Resistance RPG game along the lines of Mass effect gameplay. Wont ever happen but I think it would definitely be one of PS5's best exclusives if it was done right.

I would prefer it like the old days where we would get 2 or 3 games in a series per generation versus getting one every 12+ years like we do now. The only exception is COD but it’s been copy and paste for years so doesn’t really count.
Ps5 console is amazing but it's still not put to full potential still need to be boosted to maximum we need fully backwards compatible on it ..come on its 2024
Tbh both consoles have mostly been paper weights since release. Nothing on the PS5 is unique, Spider-man 2 just felt short and lacking and God of War does look good but it's just the first game continued on (which is not a bad thing for what GoW is) but other than that, dead. Xbox is even worse, Starfield flopped with so much copium coming from the devs and Redfall being the disaster of game it was. 3rd party games been holding it down for this gen of copy paste releases like TLoU remastered and 2 remastered.
