  • This little drone has got to be one of the easiest to fly for beginners. Buy it here shrsl.com/?euj5 Includes altitude hold making this very steady in vertical flight. Turn on headless mode and it's extremely easy to fly.
    Pros
    - Includes altitude hold.
    - Headless mode and one key return
    - Nice stable and docile flier. Should be easy for beginners.
    - good flipper.
    - Expert rate has extreme yaw turning. You can make it spin like a top :-)
    Cons
    - As a tiny hexacopter, it's very hard to maintain orientation on this in normal flight. Recommend flying this mostly in headless mode.

    Hello Quadcopter 101, I picked up ine of these a while back and absolutely love it! I thought the regular non-altitude hold H20 was a impressive little flyer, and the altitude hold feature makes the H20H even better. One large Chinese vendor even sells a special aluminum like carrying/display case for it, and its priced under US$10.
    Thanks again for doing your review. It was superb, like all of your other ones.
    Very best regards,
    Joe Cro

    I was looking for a small drone to fly indoors (or out). Your videos are very helpful. I bought one off eBay because it was more interesting than a small quadcopter so now I have a Syma X5UW and a JJRC H20H. Thanks Quadcopter 101!

    Got mine yesterday, may just be the easiest copter to fly on the planet. Would be nice if it flew a little longer (150mah battery) but hey, spare batteries cost very little and charge quickly.

    I bought one of these. And when it came I took it out of the box, charged it up and every time I try to take off it just does a front-flip, and goes into safe mode. Imagine I need to recalibrate the transmitter but I don't know how. There's nothing in the instructions that help... Any advice?

    • @Quadcopter101
      @Quadcopter101  Před 7 lety +1

      Flipping on takeoff is almost a certain sign that one of the propellers is misinstalled. Either done by yourself or by the factory. There are two shapes of propellers, clockwise and counter-clockwise, that must be installed on corresponding CW or CCW motors. If installed on the wrong motors, the quadcopter will flip, fly sideways, or will not takeoff. Take a close look at the following picture and compare the propellers and their installation to your drone. Particularly notice the two different CW and CCW shapes of propellers, and where they are located. Make yours match the picture. img.rcgroups.com/img15.hostingpics.net/pics/780862DSCF7655.jpg?h=TZEqBBInEjDLHu2y54oNXg

      Thanks man. This thing is fresh out of the box. So I haven't had the chance to wreck it yet (as I'm sure it will come LOL) Do these micro props just pull off? I don’t see any holes for screws...

      NewCense Yes they do. Gently pry them off with a butter knife.

    Great review! But my experience with JJRC hasn't been very good. I have bought 4 different models and all of them have not been good. Two were Nanos and they each lost a motor relatively quick. Next I got a Tarantula x6 that didn't even power on out of the box so it went back. I also bought the H11c which is nice but with a range of about 20 feet I don't fly it very often. Maybe I've just had bad luck or maybe JJRC just doesn't have good quality control. Either way no more JJRC for me.

    how did u get drones to review. I'm interested in doing it.

    • @Quadcopter101
      @Quadcopter101  Před 7 lety +6

      Sure. Here's how I did it. I started my channel by producing tutorials and reviews of quadcopters that I had already purchased. I had a total of six small toy grade quadcopters, but I did many videos with those six. With practice, I started to become proficient at producing these videos. After about a year and 100 videos, I started to receive my first offers of free sample (courtesy) quadcopters for review purposes.
      But I don't keep them (don't have the storage space), nor do I sell them (don't have the time). After their reviews are completed, they are donated to local schools and charities (Toys for Tots and school STEM clubs).

    • @therealwillie2024
      @therealwillie2024 Před 7 lety

      Thank you. I've been into showing people the good vs the bad out there. I was already aware you donated them but I also wondered if you tought the kid who received the quad how to fly. Or do the places sell the item. I have 5 drones but I don't count the nano quads cause I buy one a week lol.

    • @therealwillie2024
      @therealwillie2024 Před 7 lety

      Yes I make my quad purchases based on his reviews. He knows were to look for a deal and unique quads. For example the cheerwing cw4 . It's the cheapest altitude hold drone ( excluding mini quads). And the hubsan h502e the cheapest GPS quad.
