Thanks for the great review Q101. This answered all of my questions. I did wonder if I could use a Volantex Tx and you said it cannot be done, shame as I prefer those controllers. I did own a TopRC FW190 and just like this one it needed speed to fly or would stall and bite you. It was heavy compared to other 400mm. I also naturally found it hard to climb and fly, so I altered the servo horn default position on the elevator by one notch, and I found it was better. Your review showed me this aircraft is essentially the same, so useful information. I ended up giving the FW190 away. So far, I find the 400mm Red Tail Mustang V1 is the most impressive flyer, and can even be flown happily in expert mode. One of mine has just completed 100 flight days (on my channel). Thanks again.

The first time I flew mine it was a windy day and it would only climb, I'm telling you that cheap little plane was up in the stratosphere.

This 1 flies more like a plank with that long wing and short tail moment. Like the full sized drone it is more designed for long range stable flight rather than aerobatic ability. A mate had the 2ch version but lost it into the Taipan Country before we could think about modding it to more channel controls. Nobody here had the XK A110 but we had several of the A100s, A120s, A150s and the similar QF008/787s - all not bad little 3-channellers. The Volantex V761-2 Ranger 3ch (and now the 4ch version) are the ideal mini aerobatic gliders. Apart from the V761 Mini Warbirds the best toys we have for mad hotdog flying are the LDARC TinyWing450g wings. On a good Multi Radio they will match it with any aggressive territorial bird and being such tiny light EPP toys they have survived all smashes for years. We bought spare parts at the get-go but have never needed any - even the 10 spare props they come with have not been used.

The Ranger 600 has been the best RC plane I ever owned. It crashed landed in the lake a few times, electrical parts shorted out because of water damage but after it completely dried out, it still performed great. 👍 I actually had multiple ones and one of them never worked after it crashed in the lake. I got a replacement one that still performed after it touched the water.

So really quick I just got this drone. And I have pretty well top of the line phone wifi and all that and it won't connect and everytime I open the app for the camera it just shuts down right away. And the other thing is the battery pack won't turn off. And the other 2 it came with won't stay on. It comes on bit then goes off

I had the white 3 channel version. Does it feel a bit top heavy or is it just my lack of experience? The front prop XK800 was smooth as butter as a comparising, but the quality is so bad I will not by it again. Can I attach a small camera system to the motherboard or battery on it?
