Sticky Detonator is a bit creative it deserves to be a bit higher
I remember when I use to stick the bomb on my teammates and they would become my suicide bombers rushing in towards the enemy, sometimes I used it on the warthog too and drove straight in to the enemy like Kame Kaze.
My favorite weapon in all of halo. It's so unique compared to the rest.

Always preferred the splaser far more unique and interesting than the railgun redesign.
The saw and plasma caster were cool. If you don’t like the reclaimer saga you have to admit that they had some fun weapons

I feel like he's just had bad experiences with the thing because it's so good past close range. Would gladly go hydra only in any halo 5 game mode

I do think you need to involve the halo 5 gradients as well. You did it with infinite but yes 5 has way more but lots of them do different things. And if you want to do an ultimate list then add halo wars guns. As well as iOS halo games. As well as books and legends guns. Ultimate vehicles list soon?
You forgot the Whispered Truth in Halo 5. A Magnum with a suppressor, burst fire, and speed boost. It can two burst enemy Spartans if you get the headshot on the second burst.
There was a ton of variants he didn’t rank from halo 5. It was so cool to play all the special ones on warzone ! I miss the saw that shoots explosive rounds , or the sword that kept you invisible if you didn’t move . Warzone was so fun
Although I have a soft spot for the CE Magnum - the Arcane Sentinel Beam (Sun Laser) is the BEST Halo weapon in the series. It even melts vehicles. The only reason it doesn't break the game entirely is due to it's limited ammo and short range. Otherwise, I'd say it beats out even the CE pistol.
I’m playing through CE on legendary and damn the magnum was overpowered. One shots elites in the head, grunts in the head, jackals in the head and even banshees and hunters too. Shit was dumb OP.
I'd argue Halo 4's M247 Turret is _the_ best one in the series, because of consistency. Thanks to Gunner, and every BTB map in matchmaking rotation having at least two of them, all of whom always have a 30 second respawn time, acquiring them is almost a guarantee, and they have much, much better damage per bullet than Reach's one, comparable to the H4 SAW in TTK.
In addition, Promethean Vision is the only Armour Ability in the series that can be used with a turret, so you can pair that with Gunner and the third-person perspective to have much better manoeuvrability and reactability to incoming enemies than at any other point in the series.

Oh yeah, it shreds shields but burns through battery and has no usefulness at anything aside from yardstick range. Don't bother in warzone, though I suppose I was a bit too harsh on it when it comes to campaign. Personally, still dislike the gun even today @@princejugali6637

that is true, but it's kind of average at best when you compare it to the rest of the sandbox. H5 has a lot of really good guns, very few are genuinely poor@@princejugali6637

If the Halo 5 Assault Rifle had the classic Ammo Counter with the black screen and blue numbers, it would definitely be the perfect AR in terms of design

I have a question that needs answering. And if Nikos comes across it, please consider it. Here is my question. The Orion project helped the UNSC engineer superhuman soldiers like Sergeant Johnson. There were others who eventually had kids. Those kids were abducted and used by Doctor Hallsey to spearhead the Spartan 2 project. It had its fair share of consequences, but the result was a new race of humans. The most popular of them is The Master Chief. Then, we had Spartan 3 and 4 projects. which were not that impressive, in my opinion. If we come back to the survivors of the Spartan 2 projects, Why didn't the UNSC or even Doctor Hallsey harvest the genetic materials from them and use them as a base to produce a new breed of superhuman soldiers? Or maybe encourage many Spartan 2 to coopulate and produce more babies so they can be recruited into the UNSC. The more this process was repeated, the less we would need to conduct new scientific experiments.
Spartan II's were sterilized during their augmentations, which is pretty inhumane, and prevented any potential for them to have kids. Whether that was intentional or just a side effect of the augmentations isn't something I'm aware of right now. So they could not reproduce, and even if they could, I don't know if their artificial augmentations could be passed down through their genes, it's all sci-fi stuff.
Saying the Halo 4 Plasma Pistol is on par with Reach and 3's is like drinking piss and then saying it's water.

A few disagreements, but it's still a fun video to watch!
Halo 4's Beam Rifle should be in S-tier. It's less effective at long range than the Sniper Rifle, but at close range, H4's Beam Rifle is a no-scoping machine. Out of all sniper weapons in the series, Snapshotting someone at close range is easiest with the H4 Beam Rifle.
H4's Sticky Det should be no lower than B-tier. It's not meant to be an offensive weapon. Lay a trap and play close-quarters. Its blast radius is respectable, and does really good damage.
H4's Plasma Pistol is the worst in the series. Should be D-tier. Tracking is severely nerfed, and peppering is barely effective at all.
H5's Hydra is only trash in close-range. Past close-range, the thing can two-shot enemies even while they're behind cover. Once you lock-on to an opponent, aim up while shooting two missiles. Those missiles will then have a proper angle to take out enemies hiding behind a wall in two shots. It's a fantastic flanking weapon, and I scored so many crucial kills in Ranked Arena on Stasis! I'd argue that it belongs in a low B-tier.
H5's Storm Rifle should be C-tier or B-tier. It shreds in CQC. Obviously, it sucks at range, but it's basically a Covie SMG in H5.
Speaking of the SMG, it's missing from the list. H5's SMG is a monster at close range, and I'd argue that it should be in B-tier for its impressive CQC capabilities.
The h4 beam rifle has an awesome sfx too. The Gundam fan in me is probably biased but I honestly prefer it to the squeaky spark sound in the original trilogy.
Halo 4 did struggle with having an overabundance of unfitting weapons, something the games struggled with since Halo 2 in my opinion, but damn were some of it's guns interesting like the sticky detonator ir railgun. Halo 5s sandbox really did just remove any unque weapons and kept the weapons which were just copies of others.

When I played Infinite, I would load up a transport Hog full with Marines all carrying the Sentinel Beam variant. I called it the DELETE Hog and made the game play itself at a certain point, at least the open world part. Very satisfying but also boring as hell.
The sound of the Halo 4 BR is one of the reasons I put the game down. It sounds so off, plastic, and you hear it everywhere.

Some of these make me wonder about your sanity. H4 shotgun looking bad? It's the best looking model in the series. Are you high? And the firing sound is pure pleasure. Now admittedly, it's a bit sacrilegious as it's definitely a big departure from the Halo pump shotguns of old, so I'll give you that, but still.
Sticky detonator is way better than you think. Maybe not the best weapon ever, but it can still definitely do work. Actually, I think it might be kinda OP'd right next to the rocket launcher. Hell, if anything else, you can use it to blow up someone's shields before quickly switching to your secondary and finishing them off.
Halo 4 sniper sounds really damn nice. Right up there with the shotgun.
Some of the covie weapons sound great. Not all, but some.
