Ok I had to laugh… I never talk / share about our shoes!! We ended up purchasing a large shoe rack that lives in the garage just outside the mudroom door! It freed up so much space! 😊

If you are still looking for a place for the kids shoes, a pretty bench with lift up seat under the mirror could work well for extra storage.

That dresser is so beautiful. My favorite room in your house is your kitchen but every room is beautiful. I use white twin sheets from Walmart for my curtains and I love them
Beautiful! I love the design, the shiplap is gorgeous! I love the hooks too, especially lower ones for the kids! I might suggest a padded bench on the wall underneath the hooks, with baskets for each little one, under the bench. For the kids to sit, take off shoes, and put them away in the baskets.

Anytime you iron cotton,take them from the washer and iron while wet. So much easier and better result. (also dries it without shrinking) Awesome results for cotton and linen tablecloths!

I loved this transformation. Somehow I never realized you lived in a historic home. I love historic homes, I know they have lots of challenges, but the charm outweighs it in my opinion.
