I can’t wait to see your new home come together.

I resonate with your story so much! I was a D1 college swimmer and was thin, fit, healthy, insanely active and strong. I graduated, got married and had three kids - each of which hurt my pelvic joints so much it took about a year of rehab to get me back to walking without pain. I still stayed only about ten pounds over my college weight. Then I had sudden crippling neurological ankle pain and could barely walk for three years. Had three back to back surgeries with major recovery time. Over those years I gained about ten pounds a year, ending up fifty pounds over weight. I am five years past the surgeries and have only taken off about ten pounds. It's SO MUCH HARDER to take weight off than it would have been to not gain it in the first place 😭 Even though it's been about eight years since I was thin and healthy, I still look in the mirror and don't recognize the fat person looking back.

I have built 4 houses in my 62 yrs and I have LOVED the experiences so much!! You learn a ton with each build. Your new home is gorgeous, I adore your choices all around! I cant wait to see the finished home once you move in! CONGRATS!! Also, loved your haul.... got some great ideas of meal items to try!! Lastly, you are looking SO healthy! Tan, fit, gorgeous..... inspiring!!!

Hi Amy, I'm late commenting as I am getting back from vacation. I am so proud of you. You decided one day to lose weight. You lose 90 lbs and run a marathon and in such a short time! It shows true grit and determination!! You brought tears to MY eyes!

I haven’t made a poke cake in so long my one grandpa used to love it and so I would make it for him. I never did the fruit but the Jell-O and Cool Whip obviously. I’ve seen several people use that easy off on the furniture and it’s always worked really well for them so I hope yours does too.

I am so glad that you don't just buy the cheapest eggs. My grocery budget is tight at the moment but I never ever would buy eggs from cage farming. I don't want get into a discussion but i am watching a lot of videos from people who lost wage, I am in Week 4 and i am on a Keto diet, all of them being those cheap eggs and meat. I think as humans we also have a responsibility how we treat farm animals.

I’m a food label reader too and am very particular with the foods I bring into our home. I’ve been studying Ingredients and what they actually are. If you truly want to eat healthy, read labels. Stay away from anything modified, bioengineered, high fructose corn syrup and anything with dyes especially red and yellow. Maldextrose is made out to be ok to consume but it’s not. Someone said to me last week “ don’t eat anything that is advertised in a tv commercial “ I get that. We have to be vigilant with our foods if we want to be around to see our future grandchildren. So excited to see your new home furnished, it’s looking absolutely beautiful 🫶🏻
