Awesome watching Gabe and Susan eyeballin' back and forth for vocal cues! Look at Gabe trying to look around Dereks back to see who gets the next phrase! Classic! Cheers! Can't wait to see you in Bend OR, 8/27/22!
This is a good quality recording. Thank you for properly taping this on a tripod and using a zoom, as well as using good quality audio equipment. So refreshing to hear a great recording of a live band! It is totally appropriate to see a band member turn around and adjust the volume on the Fender amplifier to get the sound she needs. This is a really good recording and the reality and sincerity come through. Fine band, Fine recording.
So good! Susan Tedeschi tearing it up vocally and guitar playing, great vocals by the keyboard player plus the incomparable Derek Trucks and they are playing a Blind Faith tune!
Well done, lovely tune, lovely performance. Remember seeing the Blind Faith performance originally of this in Detroit some time ago. Miss Gingers' plodding metronomic skill, but this is so very nice. Thanks to you all.
I love that second verse where you can see Susan anticipating that note Gabe is going to hit in his vocal and the big grin when he does it. Live music at its best.
@@spacko539 Blind Faith had Ginger Baker & Eric Clapton from Cream in the group. Of course since Steve Winwood wrote this song you might also says it's the Traffic legacy as well.
I love this version. I think the keyboard player does a great job with this song, but really... it was custom made for Ms Trucks voice , and she just kill her part!

Susan Tedeschi playing amazing solos on a Gibson Les Paul and singing with her molasses golden voice - what more could a man want in life. 😍 Derek is a very lucky man.
Superb ! Would make Steve Winwood proud I think . What a voice on Gabe ! Very nice wah wah solo by Susan and her always great voice. And Derek doing a little solo for him . Just hate do see them playing what appears to be such a small venue .

Love it love it love it. So glad they are covering this underrated song. See the blind faith- Hyde park version- Outrageous. All the greatest bands have multiple voices.
Passionate vocals and crunchy guitar solos of Susan and Derek. Blind Faith would be amazed of this performance. A song with some unusual chord progressions, but gives a lot of space for guitar solos, right? And a funny moment of the keyboardist up from 6:20 in the course of the ongoing technical problems. That`s live music, isn`t it`? Thanks for posting.
I'm finally after all these years convinced that theres nobody in the world who can play better than Derek Trucks, nobody. And Susan and that keyboard player put on a clinic for vocals, that was amazing!
Absolutely freaking beautiful. This was one of my favorite songs as a stoner kid in late 60's Texas. Great rendition.
Nobody talks about the rhythm section! Bass player and drummer are rocking!
The dummer got a bit too busy at times, throwing things off, but overall this was a great rendition.

I love this…wonderful collage of hooks, melody’s and virtuoso playing.
😮 awesome 👍
Steve Winwood, one of the RnR GOATs ... Fabulous cover 😊
What a fantastic rendition!
So good seeing/hearing Susan kill it again on guitar ❤️❤️❤️
This band keeps evolving and not for nutten but I love them and thank you . ! .
This sure brought back a lot of memories. You did an awesome job of this tune.
Great singing from Gabe

Didn't want that song to end!
Das rite, das rite.
Take me back to hearing this song on FM radio 📻 in 1970 and having my mind blown 🤯
So good! Susan Tedeschi tearing it up vocally and guitar playing, great vocals by the keyboard player plus the incomparable Derek Trucks and they are playing a Blind Faith tune!
nice to see Susan get the lead guitar -she's a helluva player,,,and singer
Coming to Mother Church in Nashville next month! Best touring band out there.
LOVED that Derek removed the shields from amps and then his earpiece OLD SKOOL STILL ROCKS
Excellent version of this classic.
This is great! Love that smooth SG playing
First time. Wow! Both vocals are outstanding! Great song!
Lovin' Gabe Dixon's contributions to this band. Saw them do this a few weeks ago, and to me it was the showstopper.
I’ve replayed the first 17 seconds of this vid…..oh, maybe 12 times….OMG!
Man… can Gabe SING❣️🎼 … this started great and just got better and better.
Yeah, he's really good. But I do like when Susan comes in and you go "holy shit. I almost forgot why she's one of the great voices of all time."
Love it when Susan plays her solos!

She does it twice it slays me I turned all my friends onto this version what a precious vehicle these folks have going🍀💪😎
Derek isn't the only one in the family that can shred! ❤
Susan used to just do the vocals, Derek doesn't sing as far as I know, together they have become a major blues force.
‘Shred’ is a demeaning term in reference to a guitarist’s musicality. I wouldn’t hang that tag on either of them.
We were there! Great covers of Layla and Blind Faith.
Thanks for posting this. What a band!
I think this is simply jamming song love it !! 👍👏👏👏😊way to Go !! 🎸🎤👍👍
oh yes! Great song to cover!!!! YOU GUYS ROCK!
She has a great voice. They play guitar really well together to
It' so very good, true music
Bella verve musicale...che bella voce la tedeschi...susan sei bellissima e non solo...bello bello bello per davvero. 😍❤️❤️
Derek, an Amazing guitarist
Love it and the Cream legacy...
Thankful for such a great jam!
What kind of " Cream legacy" ? ? ?
@@spacko539 Blind Faith had Ginger Baker & Eric Clapton from Cream in the group. Of course since Steve Winwood wrote this song you might also says it's the Traffic legacy as well.
Susan is a bad ass on this song - guitar and vocals
That's the BEST cover of that song I've ever heard! And I've been around a long, long time.
Cream, Derek and the dominoes, blind faith. Clapton genius.
Bravissimi e un caro pensiero a Clapton e Blind Faith..ho 70 anni e questa musica l'ho vissuta da ragazzo...grazie ancora e complimenti
Here because of the screen shot. Hawt ❤️❤️❤️
That keyboard player, what a voice! Sounds very much like Bobby Martin that used to play with Zappa 💋
He's pretty good, but also reminds me a little of Elmo from "I Love You Man"
That’s Gabe Dixon - he’s a hell of a singer/songwriter/piano player himself. All his albums are great.
Like everything they do- absolute musical fun! Great job (as always)! Lol
great cover of this song!!
These guys rock so hard. This is great. Thanks for sharing.
I love this version. I think the keyboard player does a great job with this song, but really... it was custom made for Ms Trucks voice , and she just kill her part!
Humidity looks heavy there.. Loved how Derek reminded Susan lol
I love how every song I’ve ever heard them do starts out a song and turns into a jam session!
That was pretty much how it was in the '60's and early '70's concerts
And that's a problem?
Magic of live music!
Turns to a soul revival for me after ever song note for note makes me grateful for music every time I hear them
Thanks for recording this, Ed.
Such a great version.! Gabe is like “ hey Derek, get out the way”!!
Trucks knows how to always take simple leads to new levels...great guitarist, best slide period.
Nicely played, Derek!
Derek is bang on form with this one.
He always is she's no slouch either
could do it in his sleep.. and probably does..
fantastico! wonderful musicians
2 awesome solos there. Great stuff.
Great band unique sound
Wow! A Song of Beauty.
I love Susan's tone with that gold top, thx Gabe

I like his voice. Reminds me of the 70s.
So cool to see Susan and Derek's guitar necks almost parallel and watch their runs together early on.

She looks great, also. She's about fifty.
VERY LUCKY AND FUCKING INSANELY TALENTED TOO !!!!!

Goosebumps
check out the guitar sole by hubby.. wow.. and Susan looks good in that short short dress.. nice
the greatest Blind Faith song!!!
This is the band that EC called Truck's "young" band. They still sound that way and they sure ain't going nowhere.
Waoooooo, hacen una poesía de música, fascinante.
Love Susan's voice and talent so much but cant help notice those Tina Turner legs!

Susan to Derek on the solo: It's ok, baby, I got this. And she did!
