Alternating between night treatments including tretinoin (covered with oil to prevent as much moisture loss as possible), chemical exfoliation (AHA/BHA left for 30 min, and then covered with oil - but usually The Ordinary Alpha Lipoic Acid), and recovery / moisturising (calming / hydrating serums, moisturising night mask, covered in oil).
Tretinoin and alpha lipoic acid are the best things that have happened to my skin in near a decade. And, in places with national health care, they're both very affordable. In Canada, tretinoin is around $28 CAD for 40 mL, but it lasts a long time. And alpha lipoic acid from The Ordinary is around $6 CAD. But I use ALA on most of my body, so I go through it pretty quickly. 😅
I drink lots of water and fruits, I use homemade scrubs such as coffee mixed with tumeric and greek yoghurt scrub, then at night I apply olive oil.
I just do simple stuff , somedays I apply homemade facemask. It could be anything like honey, yogurt, clay. At night I just use oils like coconut, sunflower mixed with essential oil.
I have stopped using chemical stuff like creams, lotions. It's very harmful in long run.

It's not for acne it's for having a glass face....
There's no facial out there that would get rid of acne in one go... you would have to go multiple times to get acne treated. I doubt you would see much difference with just one so it would be pointless and everyone in the comments would be saying "Wow there's no difference what a useless facial bla bla bla"

@@brxlee_bear9726 proactive is the most overhyped, expensive acne product that actually doesn't work. Celebrities *cough* *cough* Kendal Jenner, make it seem like it's a magic potion that vanishes acnes like poof!! But it doesn't. I suggest people with acne go to a dermatologist and figure out the type of acne you have. That's step one.
She didn't have a single spot, dark circles, freckles, blemishes or puffy eyes unlike mine so almost no difference is visible except for the glowing skin.
She had black heads, some spots in her face & her face was a little bit dull & not dewy
That’s what glass skin is...this wasnt a “get rid of acne and dark spots in one go” facial. It was for glass skin.

i only noticed when the second lady started speaking korean..
So they basically exfoliated several different ways, moisturized several different ways, and applied a sunscreen. Got it.
This specific treatment cost around $120 and tipping is not necessary.
I had a treatment done in South Korea and the total was only $55. Aquapeel and v-line shaping (they had a sale).
for me, the most important thing about glass skin is the smoothness. You can have the dewiest, bounciest skin, but bumps/ acne scars would ruin the glass skin illusion

The more i see this expensive crazy facials, the more I feel like a basic facial with extractions, and some good moisturizer will do everything you need.

When I made a 2-week trip to South Korea, I had 2 facials done. Did aquapeel and v-line shaping. It was wonderful and my skin looked brighter and softer. It sucked out the gunk in my pores and my pores looked smaller.
If I stayed longer, I would have gotten my freckles lasered and had more aquapeel to make my skin more smooth and softer.
Exactly it's worth it! Especially if you want to treat yourself for you! So nice! How was it? They look as if they use quality products. It's a great experience to have as apart of of a skin care .so a 125$ is not bad at all.

I was super excited to see this, but I highly doubt that spa normally uses Glow Recipe products in their facials. I'd love to see a video about skin clinics in Korea without a brand representative tagging along.

Best facial result I've seen from your videos. Skin looks great and there is cheek definition so it really did define your cheekbones.

y’all i’m so tired of pressed ppl saying how they didn’t show a person w acne or how she looks fine or this wouldn’t fix it acne. ITS NOT SUPPOSED TO DO THAT. it’s supposed to make ur skin pretty and glowing and that “glass skin” effect it isn’t supposed to really fix large skin blemishes it’s just supposed to make u look dewy. also one facial isn’t going to remove all ur acne u need treatments and multiple facials probably so yeah that’s my rant
