To anyone involved in this production, if you read this - please. The fan base absolutely would adore a sequel, no matter how long it has been since the first one. This film touched so many people, and left on such a sad note. I only recently discovered this film, and it still just as relevant in 2022 as it was back when it came out. The crowd funding for Free Fall 2 has amounted to more than what was expected or needed which was fantastic news. So Free Fall 2 will be coming but with the Corona Virus putting a stop to most filming worldwide the last 18 months & also rearranging cast schedules while working on other things, there has been an understandable delay. With half of Europe in another lock down, when the film will surface for audiences to appreciate in cinemas, is all in the lap of the Gods for now. Schedules for all major films the last couple of years have all been put under enormous strain but I'm sure this definitely one that will be worth the wait. 'Patience is a virtue possessed by few' it is said, so I'm OK to be one of the few.

Just watched the first movie...MUST see the second- I applaud all the talent- such intensity in the emotions- tenderness-turmoil...i cannot sleep now..MUST see the second part- I love the realism, the fear-hypocrisy ...Free fall of Marc falling into himself...Kay's courage leading the way, their sense of urgency of wanting to be with each other - delightfully delicious histoire!

The original film made you think that Marc had lost Kay forever because he didn't know where he had gone. That makes no sense, he had his phone number, right? Definitely waiting for a sequel, this film moved me more than any that I can remember. Love Marc and Kay, love Hanno and Max.
I thought that too, but then I realized that maybe Kay wasn't answering the phone, so there was no way to find him.

Bit of a latecomer (a decade latecomer), but i can't tell you how much under my skin this film has got. I don't believe a film has ever had such an effect on me before. It's the acting, absolutely superb, as well as the story. I find it concerning that there has been no information or updates on this since 2019, and the realist in me can't accept that there will be anything happening after so long a silence. It's not the time gap - there's been bigger gaps and sequels have still come out - but the silence that seems to make it quite clear... but the optimist in me will keep an eye out for updates on a sequel from now until forever (at the risk of sounding dramatic). If someone is still reading this, please, make it happen. Or at the very least, turn the script into a book??
Same here. I just randomly came across it and then I became obsessed. I don't even need to read the subtitles any more I memorized what they going to say. It's a problem 😂. The acting was 👌. This movie got me interested in foreign films. For me the movie is not mainly about him being gay. I think Kay can turn a straight man gay and a gay women straight. He has that quality.

Я надеялась, что после того как Марк осознал свои чувства к Каю, он его нашел, все же в одной системе работают парни, оба полицейские, найти не составит труда. А выходит Марк забил на их любофф...эх, печаль. Буду ждать 2 часть, хотя долбаный короновирус сорвал все планы, вдруг произойдет чудо) и они соберут нужную сумму и снимут продолжение.

This is BRILLIANT. I'm totally supporting this campaign. When I saw the film I fell completely in love with the characters. I'm curious to see how the writers bring the two back together. There are so many ways to piece them back together..random meeting, work, a phone call out of the blue..so many ways. I LOVE LOVE THIS FILM! I thought I had nothing to live for, but now I do.
Yes...there are so many possibilities...the trick is to select the ones that make for the most interesting sequel. I just hope they don't pick plots that seem totally unlikely or go down a dark path where one of them falls into meth addiction or something like that. I want to see something good hearted with a satisfying ending - even if they don't get married.
John, I agree. I hope the film shows how they both made it through. Family, friends, co-workers, therapy.?? What new relationships deveolped or fell away from this truth? I hope Kay isn't in a relationship, it would be awful if they tortured another person with infidelity that's been done. I also agree with your comment on the drug or alcohol usage, it would feel out of place for either of them. I'm not holding my breath for a happy ending, its probably unlikely, but closure in some form needs to come out of this..a proper, goodbye.

The apparent love between these two characters was PALPABLE. I cannot think of a movie in this genre where this was as strongly evident. SO well done!
