- Léo, étudiant dans une école de théâtre, voit son monde chamboulé suite à l'arrivée de Mathis, nouvel élève de sa classe, et suite à une annonce familiale importante, remettant en question son point de vue sur l'amour, l'amitié et son devenir d'acteur.
Léo, a drama student, sees his world turned upside down following the arrival of Mathis, a new student in his class, and an important family announcement, which will question his point of view on love, friendship and his future as an actor.

This was excellent. From the cinematography to the acting. The casting was brilliant. And I'm obsessed with all the ways this film gave layers and texture to everything without doing too much. The blowback. The use of Grindr and just condom wrappers to show hook up culture without having to be heavy handed. The monologue that Leo did at the end. And the parallelism of him in the shower in the beginning and the end. Also, hooray for a gay film that doesn't end in heartbreak. I am very grateful for this piece of art. Bravo. 🎉

To come out to someone to whom you are attracted is so very difficult. One always worries that you have misinterpreted his actions, and you might make a fool of yourself. How many of us have been there?

Not me, because i never make the decisive first move. If he doesn't take a hint maybe it just not worth it. Make it simple. Depending on your personality you can also playfully say stuff like "you are literally my husband (or crush)" or anything big and unambiguous, then see how he reacts and if he's not interested dismiss it as a joke or that it was just in a friendly way.
I've only make the first move once with someone i knew and felt that if he did reject me i wouldn't be hurt (and the move was just a regular conversation in a club). It is rarely the case that i don't care about rejection so i never make bold move like that unless i have clear signs in front of me. If he's shy give hints it usually works. Unless he doesn't like you then just find someone else and don't waste both your time :)
I have made a fool of myself on more than one occasion!
The positive storyline is refreshing. The chemistry between Leo and Mathis was obvious from the very beginning and not overly sexual, but sensual.

Je découvre seulement être vidéo... Elle est superbe... Elle fait tellement écho à ma vie. J'ai re vécu grâce à cette vidéo et surtout la musique un moment qui m'a marqué il y a quelques années. J'étais au cabaret vert en bénévole. Fan du groupe je suis allé à la sortie de la scène. L'un des membres du groupe m'a demandé du feu pour allumer sa cigarette. J'en tremblait tellement j'étais heureux d'y être et quand je lui ai tendu le briquet il m'a tendu une cigarette en me disant tiens je crois que tu en as besoin. Puis tout le groupe à dédicacé mes cds et mon vinyle. Ce souvenir je l'ai déjà raconté plein de fois à mes amis mais ce soir, je l'ai vraiment re vécu.

One point I want to highlight is Mathias is very good at mastering the time; he knew exactly when to lean in for the kiss without being find out !!! And then as for him leaving him after giving the blowback; my personal interpretation is he doesn’t want to kiss anyone else or being kissed because he feels good after kissing Leo (meaning doesn’t want the lips to be spoiled by others) haha 😆 smart Mathias
Ahaha it can be an interpretation !! Or maybe he’s just afraid of what he really wants and doesn’t know how to react ? 😁 he’s character will be more developed in next projects for sure !

I liked this short movie. Both the leads are good looking. The acting is very good and natural. Glad it has a happy ending. Don't want any sad endings in gay movies.

Je viens de revoir Fauve, un an après et c’est toujours aussi bien. Léo est vraiment formidable de vérité et de justesse (c’est sûrement normal pour un bon élève du Cours Florent … 😉). Lors de cette seconde vision, Alex a « crevé » l’écran alors qu’il était passé inaperçu lors de la première. Il est drôle et tellement charmant avec son drôle d’accent.

At 9:25. Oh, never mind! That's Le Bassin de la Villette. Once the guy said that Leo lived near the Buttes-Chaumont, I googled where that was at and Le Bassin was nearby. It's all trendy now in the 19th arrondissement and the Canal St. Martin, like the Brooklyn of Paris. I live in the Brooklyn of New York. LOL. Need to visit those areas when I return to Paris.
Waouh, un film bien écrit avec un scénario qui tient vraiment bien la route. Le jeu des acteurs est parfait, on y croit à 100 %. Côté caméra, rien à redire, les plans et séquences sont professionnels et laissent présager d'un bel avenir.
