Well it was a more Black pilled than usual , but true and that's the world we living .
In more positive note , there are many local (some right wing ) companies that are competitors to cola , are cheaper and tasty better too 😏😏
I'm sure same goes with Beer or drinks too
That's the black pill reality , until some day when Defund the Woke !
just for this the Anheuser-Busch (net worth $115 billion dollars) must pay fine of $ 600 Million in 2025 (would be nice) 🤑🤑
Hey Lauren, if you see this, I was wondering if you could answer a quick question: Is this channel monetized on youtube? I know how it goes for channels that engage in wrong think. Big or small. I sub to a fellow here that passed the monetization threshold months ago, yet has still not been monetized. Sorry if this is something you have already addressed. Been subbed for about 2 years and in that time I can't recall it coming up.
Actually, "Get woke, go broke" is a real phenomena. The thing is that it is not universally true for all industries. For example, basic commodities like toiletries that have no alternative substitute will never fall victim to "Get woke, Go broke" because too many people are indifferent to teh marketing of these products. Same thing with beverages and beer as shown here. Meanwhile, in entertainment media like comics, gaming and movies, "Get woke, Go broke" is very real because those products are not necessities that people can't do without. They are supported by fan-bases and customers with enough disposable income. Shoving identity politics or wokeness into these products directly angers and alienates the target customers and pushes them towards many available alternatives. Disney Star Wars has been losing viewership and revenue. American mainstream comics have been losing ground to manga and manhwa and European comics. Gillette lost customers because of that dumb ad and many simply bought from alternative razor manufacturers. "Get woke, Go broke" is real
The wife and I always watch your vids pert 'neer all the way through. We appreciate your insight and, honestly, your bluntness. Keep it up, please. There needs to be "sane" voices out there to bolster us when all seems dark.
Helping others is about all we can do, until they see the fault in their path. God knows, I have plenty of my own, but we will always fault on the side of helping others, when we can. Stay safe Lauren, and everyone else.
Yes! I remember watching a famous economist give a book tour lecture around fifteen years ago. He mentioned that we had reached a point where corporations were much more concerned about their relationship with the government than with their customers (much like Soviet model).
The lucrative merger.
The Fascist Left. That's who is pushing it
And this why "Defund the woke " is so important , if only in 2025 next government start giving them Fines , like just for this the Anheuser-Busch (net worth $115 billion dollars) must pay fines of $ 600 Million in 2025 !
And see how quickly will fall in line Or just fall 😏😏
Absolutely! Matter of fact for decades both parties in the U.S. have been helpful in shipping manufacturing overseas! In other words it is all by design! Most people are unfortunately clueless, asleep or apathetic to know or learn these things! People just keep voting! Southern has finally come to the conclusion that I came to years ago. We can only save ourselves, or friends, and our families. We can't save everybody.
Yep, eventually it's just time to close the bunker doors.
Mega cringe. Race is an extension of family, and we can save that the second you stop with the egalitarian J fairy tales.
Businesses don’t compete for consumers anymore. They compete for government access.
That was the initial form of capitalism : having the privilege to represent government or the Queen.

To be more precise. I believe "go woke, go broke" is oversimplified but still applies in the grand-macro in the long-term. Our government spending, inflation, spending billions to support these multinational corporations, is inherently unsustainable and less competitive than free-market, non-crony capitalism. The broke will come just on a much larger timescale.
The soviets and maoist, Zimbabwe and cuba...got woke and went broke. Of course, by 'went broke' I mean killed millions with intentional famines. Can't wait for them to do that again, they won't get a single bite from me.
The government/establishment controls the major corporations that are public and the unions. That's socialist and even if we were to go full socialist it would inevitably collapse in upon itself as it always does.
Unfortunately the human lifespan is not that long... these people will not live to see that day.
The fed said it wants to see higher unemployment to reduce inflation. This is more what would be better for America, to reach that good old American dream? Apparently to reduce inflation you need a permanent underclass unemployment of around 6-7% instead of the 3-4% now.

ESG scores are a hell of a motivator.
Just one more reason to shop local as much as possible.
That’s all it is
ESG means nothing to anyone outside of the stock market.
No one should have ever stopped. Goods from thousands of miles away should NEVER be less expensive to purchase than local. Again it is all by design and the consumers pays.
@@rrmackay This person might have a point, since companies want more investors. They might do what they think is right in order to increase their ESG scores, which in the end makes them look better to investors that base their investments on ESG. If a company only focuses on ESG scores and not primary research, to find out who their customers are, well, they just might be mistaking.
@@Madgardian Its not some grand conspiracy, economies of scale are a known economic factor and lead to price reductions even in local companies. Things have been ultra cheap in the last 20 years because of global production. The latest rise in prices may be some kind of game but I doubt it.
If you do want to boycott Anheuser-Busch, here is a short list of some big staple beer brands not owned or manufactured by them: Yuengling, Heineken, Coors, Miller, Molson (for you Canadians), Pabst Blue Ribbon, Deschutes (great beer), Sierra Nevada, Duvel, Firestone Walker (805), Blue Moon. And MANY more, if you just search for who owns which brands. Please comment below with any brands you know to help add to this list.

Japanese beers: Asahi (my least favorite but they can still make a decent draft), Kirin (occasionally makes seasonal craft brews), Sapporo (good draft, good craft brews, but sadly not always available), Suntory (great beers!) and Orion (recently began brewing some really decent craft seasonal) brews.
In other words... boycotts don't work without a free market. Agreed. Good point.
Because the government will bail them out? Like they did in 2008
You can't boycott the entire company, but if you boycott the specific brand associated with the wokeness you send a message.
Why can't you boycott the entire company?
I am tired of being overcharged so woke clowns can market their perversion.
Just look at what Woke Netflix did to Blockbuster. Woke Innovation both technological and cultural is taking over and there is nothing you can do to stop it. The New world order has infiltrated every education system and business worth working for. Ironically the device you are using to wine about wokeness is a product of woke culture.
Stop drinking Poison
Right, if it didn't damage the owners of Bud Light, at least it damages Mulvaney's image and hopefully has effects on some others directly involved.
I just went on the website, where you can send a message and told them I disagree with this. I also said I was switching to Yuengling (not owned by AB). I know I don't have the power to stop this company, but I do have the power to show my children and family that I stand for something, and I think that makes a difference in my small part of the world.

Those who have been concerned with China's influence on American politics since their entry into the WTO, facilitated by Bill Clinton, were more likely to have known about Wuhan Laboratory and US GOVERNMENT funded Gain of Function Research. But the knee jerk extremist sources, the only ones advertising them at the time, only discredited them by being associated with their own lack of credibility.
Anyone old enough and informed in the early 90's, because the news media still had its professional objectivity then, should remember hearing about the strange stories about the hundreds of millions of taoist practitioners promoted by the government of China as propaganda to convey a progressive enlightened narrative. It was such a spectacle at the time, also an optimistic symbol for those with hopes for further positive changes after the collapse of the Berlin Wall, all the networks covered it and uncharacteristically promoted the official CCP narratives that were given to them. The coverage of the Tiananmen Square Massacre in 1989 was still a traumatic historical experience in the free world because it was one of the first world events that was covered by networks using new technologies.
But just several years of propaganda portraying reform, that included those strange taoist practitioners doing tai chi like exercises en masse, on the same streets so many were mowed down on in 1989, had the desired effect.
Within a couple of years, those very same people became such a popular spiritual movement in China, attributed to the lack of religious freedoms, experienced the largest and most rapid crackdowns since 1989. Sadly the network news wasn't there to witness it because the government had learned their lesson. Though it was covered in the evening news, the lack of visual spectacle deprived the story of the ratings it deserved. The fall of the Soviet Union and celebrations in eastern Europe gave everyone a false sense of security and belief the Cold War had ended for everyone.
The main focus of the CCP ruled government at the time was to hold on to their strangle hold as a matter of literal survival for the CCP cadres. They knew the horrors they were responsible for and international condemnation and punishments they were deserving of. That's why they focused everything on influence campaigns with the goal of entering the WTO. They just needed a cosigner.
BILL CLINTON WAS THEIR MAN.
Well done..it's why I never wore a muzzle...my children respect me and I can look them in the eye.

Anheuser-Busch owns almost all the beer brands, as such, if you drink, consider switching to weed and/or psychedelics (if legal in your area, of course... 😉), or at least consider brewing/distilling your own booze if you absolutely can't/wont quit drinking.
For the toll alcohol takes on one's body and mind, the high and the flavor just aren't worth it, regardless of the beer company's wokeness.
There is a reason alcohol is legal and psychedelics are not. Alcohol makes you sick, so it almost ensures alcoholics are going to be profitable for not just the alcohol industry, but the medical industry as well. Also, people get drunk and commit crimes and more criminals means more slave labor for the prison industrial complex.
Alcohol is legal because it makes it easier to subjugate the people.
Psychedelics on the other hand, help people to be more open minded to new ideas/look at things from a different perspective, they help people get over addiction/mental illness, and have inspired some amazing music and art throughout history.

I grew up in trailer parks, sharing a room with my sister, picking through trash for a meal, the entire sob story of growing up extremely poor by U.S. standards, with a future panhandling and living in an upscale refrigerator box. Ended up joining the military and used that as a spring board to lower income status. Now we are doing a lot better than where I started, but we make a majority of everything we use daily. Gardening, canning, processing soaps and detergents, making baby wipes, cloth diapers, always coupon clipping, buying off-brand, drying meat and fruits for future use. It's a lot of hard work, way more than my parents were willing to do to get by. It's about your mindset. If you tell yourself you will never own a home, get out of debt, you will always be "stuck", then you have let then win. I've never let the thought of being stuck stay in my head. I just keep thinking of other ways to get around the problem and make things on my own, without amazon, wal-mart or any large corporation controlling my spending habits. It’s not enough to want to boycott a company, you have to replace it.
I decided to never drink again because I took going to the gym seriously. I haven’t drank in like 2 years. 😊
You say we have to replace and not boycott, but that is exactly what you did.
There is no competition between a gym and a beer company, you have to replace the beer company with another beer company.
Yours is the most powerful, effective solution. I never even got started drinking back in the day and my life has turned out radically different (and better) then my peers who went down the chemical crutch trap. Some of them are extremely financially successful but they are a slave to their chemicals, whether caffeine or pot or booze, nicotine or the illegal drugs.
Even more effective than what you are NOT doing (chemicals) is what you ARE doing, staying in shape. I'm 52. Been a mountaineer and wilderness skier for the past 30+ years. I've gone to lengths to stay in shape all these years and it's now starting to really show, some people my age (and even younger) are starting to slow down and show their age but I'm still going solo on the big trips. I suspect this divide will widen as we get older so keep going to the gym and staying shape, it pays good dividends when you're young but GREAT dividends when you're older.

Switch beer brands to a non-woke company, but also lower your intake and increase gym workouts.
It's not perfect, but until a beer company comes out as anti-woke, there will be no alternative
Drinking industrial beer regularly is a vice anyway no matter you indulge in transexual activities or not. All vices support each other by law of gravity. Just look for the history of beer adverts : they always promoted some kind of government approved vice or another. Today they encourage you to support the LGBT cause tomorrow they will tell you to kill Russians if there is a war with Russia or to insult Christians if the new religion is government sponsored new age.
The real reason we constantly lose the culture war is because we (conservatives in general) are far more passive and far less organized.

They report profits and earnings every quarter. It's not hard just check the stock price
No but their profits are in the last 5 to 10:percent of sales. Cut your Dollars and let Them Enjoy.

@@col.cottonhill6655 Stock price is not always a good indication, you would actually have to read the earnings report. But yeah this is all public. Even if they lose some customers, these corporations are so big they can afford it.
Because they keep making the same 'mistake' again and again.
Great video. Lauren Southern is one of the few commentators left online who actually has something interesting to say
How do we know these companies are not being subsidized behind the scenes? By what organization, is the question.
This is why I'm for ZERO subsidies, for any company/group/farm/tax/etc. Crony capitalism came up with the phrase, "too big to fail". That's utter BS. In real capitalism, when failure happens competition takes up the slack -- in both market share and that laid off labor. It truly is self-correcting -- IF you allow it to be.

There are infinite micro breweries out there. Find one near you that doesn't fly a rainbow flag that can be seen from the moon (like Dominion City near where I live),
This is why you buy local craft beer. BC's craft beer scene is pretty damn good, AB is starting to get better too. Even though they can cost a little bit more I think it's worth it in the end.
Well said Lauren. Boycotting a massive corporation promoting degeneracy is good, but giving love and hope to your neighbour is where the majority of our time and effort should go
Go woke go broke
Your nuance is needed desperately. Thank you for your thought-provoking and well researched take on this, Lauren.
I brew my own beer. Shocked anybody didn't know all those brews are monopolized at this point.
Good idea. I already grow my own weed
There are some decent local breweries where I'm at.
It’s so easy and it’s better.

“The younger generation who feel both hopeless and fearful in this ever corporatized and soulless world feel mocked rather than understood by older conservatives” Perfectly stated. I sometimes question whether I am actually lazy/ entitled (because of older generations) or actually justified in feeling hopeless and anti-corporate/anti-soulselling
Youve been deceived into thinking that conservatives are to blame, but it wasnt them who created this 'corporatized and soulless world', its progressive WOKE ideology that has.
Most conservatives didnt even know what was happening until covid forced home lockdowns. Thats when they first became aware of what Leftist crap their kids were being taught at school.

You are lazy. I bought a house when I was 20 (2 years ago). The world sucks and continues to get worse, don't get me wrong, but you can do something about it.
What the current younger generation also fails to understand is there was a hopelessness feeling in past generations as well. The idea that this generation is the first to ever feel it is a lie.

Yuengling is independent and family operated!!! It also tastes much better
It's an old-school hand crafted classic lager. Absolutely delicious!
Although not family owned, but state owned, China's well known Tsing Tao beer is also an old school German recipe, but much less crafted. How did that happen for China, you may be wondering?
Dates back to before WW1. I'll leave it at that to hopefully inspire interest in the history that still influences our daily lives. The resentments and imposed intolerance persisting in China against the US and its citizens, are based on their racial identity and how they are forced to recognize it as inferior due to western influences.
All for the purpose of producing an insulated and primal form of race based nationalism, designed to focus their attention on a false enemy that encompasses the entire western hemisphere. It forces them to want to fight a never ending war that will always be led by their "glorious leaders", the political party they supposedly volunteered to surrender their will to, The CCP, for the false promises of food security and fair treatment.
Like the saying goes, if you vote to enter socialism, you'll end up having to shoot your way out of it.

Exactly. Conservative influencers need to call for boycotts. They should've been doing so for the last decade, when this antiwhite/woke/SJW stuff started.

They always call for boycotts. It's not doing anything since boycotts just don't work for the right. I have seen this problem for years. True patriots are too quick to forgive just to get back to their "normal" lives and these companies know that.
"Go woke go broke" is far more prominent when in the process of going woke the actual product becomes tarnished.
Like with movies and tv for example it changes the entire essence of what you're consuming. However with this at the end of the day a different spokesperson or "face" for a beer company is not going to change the overall quality and taste of the beer.

I'm a psychologist, not a biologist, nutritionist, cardiologist or whatever kind of ologist works with muscles - but one thing I've noticed is since I began intermittent fasting a few months ago my testosterone levels have gone WAY WAY WAY up - it wasn't totally scientific, I last got my levels measured in April 2018 and they were slightly above normal but overall where they'd be expected to be for me as a 25 year old male. I noticed I started getting a lot of chest hair where previously I'd been pretty smooth round there, got them measured again and they'd increased dramatically. Should've declined slightly or stayed stable based on age.
I get that this is anecdotal and not specifically establishing cause/effect - but the timeline works out, insulin spikes after eating, we eat WAY more often than we used to, that plus online porn = low testosterone I think, that's my hypothesis anyway.
