Cardano will not fail. People are chasing 100x gains with meme blockchains and rug pull blockchains. It's a marathon, not a sprint. Cardano will be one of the long term winners.

I tend to agree
Building wealth is not fast and easy. Relying on a token to fulfill all your hopes and dreams is a poor strategy. Being pushed around by our fears and emotions leaves us open to easy manipulation. ADA is going to keep building regardless of what all the naysayers believe.
I’m not relying on a token to fulfill my dreams. It’s a part of a larger investment fund I have and my job.

Crypto is just sad. The top volumes are all for meme coins, insider projects, and L1’s that have given up on decentralization, security, and scalability.

Check out Hoskinson how he is building an off grid bunker out of concrete that can only be reached by helicopter and uses world mobile token to hide his IP address online while communicating over satellite. Going to be a lot of pissed investors but Hoskinson will be the next McAfee billionaire on the run.

I invested in Cardano for the same reasons you mentioned. Decentralized nature and the technology. I'm also in Ergo because they share the same ethos and it's proof of work.
On the Ergo side I'm also yield farming with Spectrum Finance.
I can't wait until the PALM token comes out from ZenGate Global. I think that's a blue-chip project.
As for the Cardano side I went all in on Dex Hunter as opposed to ADA.
I'm waiting for Splash (Dex) to come out so I can yield farm with them on the Cardano side.

It’s been too slow to roll out necessary projects, updates, and features that should have been done years ago
We still don’t have usdc while other chains have it from the start. Cardano isn’t even a completed chain… it’s far behind while newer chains are in full effect

@@dawsonallen I heard that if BTC price, after having, is not more than 80k$, mining BTC may not be profitable.
For this reason, I am bearish on BTC, but I think it is an opportunity for alt-coin esp. Cardano which (I think) is better than BTC in every aspect.

The only relevant value of a cryptocurrency is that it is decentralized, and therefore, impossible for the State to capture its control. Unfortunately, ADA Cardano is entirely susceptible to some forced state interference. This does not happen with Bitcoin, hence its immense value and price per unit. Cardano's problem is that its founders want to be the real financial beneficiaries. In practice, Cardano is centralized.
I don’t agree. I don’t see a scenario where BTC can’t be controlled and Cardano can. Cardano is arguably more decentralized

@@dawsonallen btc for the speculative store of value narrative and eth for the decentralized finance platform narrative. Eth is currently overvalued tho based on fundamentals but the ETF play could be a positive catalyst.
Maker Dao generates an incredible amount of revenue but I haven't looked deep enough into to recommend it. Just that it's interesting
you do have to be a strong believer in those original cyrpto principles to be an ADA holder. Thats the bet being placed, and Im happy that there is a group of people doing that for the rest of our sake.

It's difficult to be honest with one's self. We all loved the idea of decentralization, no more banks and massively reduced government but this is utter fantasy. Cardano ideologues are essentially betting on the entire world collapsing and Cardano emerging like a phoenix from the ashes to save humanity. The ones that Hodl ADA now will be the kings of the coming dystopia. There are so many blockchain projects that should be long dead and vanished but bag holders will just keep them on life support for years. Cardano is firmly in that bracket.
I think centralized and decentralized chains will work in the world together but it’s just a great option for anyone to use
I feel like web3 will just be a niche. The future will still be tradfi powered with AI.
