I have and it’s a great game (love the boats), but I think it’s best with a premade server than the official server. So, I’ll probably revisit it when enough want to play on a community server.
Yeah, I noticed a huge difference with performance, especially with live streaming. I had no problem live streaming it when I tried it out, but before it would drop randomly in fps on my end and my live stream was a frickin slide show 😆. Much better now that’s for sure, including a stable fps on my end now.
Lol, sure no problem. I’ll make an everything eco playlist. Yeah, this game can be very overwhelming in the beginning that’s for sure. Once you get past the learning curve though, the game is awesome!
So, I've been seeing a lot of conflicting information about overcrowding. The wiki says crops will die if overcrowded, but other people have said it only affects how wild plants spread? I just planted my first few crops and have tried to space them out until they don't say very overcrowded anymore, but left one plot very overcrowded just to see what happens. That plot was beans, so they're easier to replant. And yeah, I read in some recent posts that having more trees helps reduce the temperature in the area.
Yeah, I have tried similar tests since this guide and haven’t come up with the best way to describe how overcrowding works. It is a very interesting mechanic that makes sense but isn’t very user friendly with details. I’m glad others are toying with this mechanic as well like you did to figure it out. I’ve also tested roads near plots and that didn’t do much either, heh. Trees are great for temp level though that I did notice a big difference with. Thanks for watching!
@@jayramos11421 I did some experimentation a while back, but it was never clear what was going on and I haven't played in a while anyway, so I've forgotten by now. What I do remember is that it doesn't really matter that much. If you plant things right next to each other, they should grow fine. Even if they grow slower, you still get more output per land claim since you have more plants growing in the claim. The game has updated since I last played, I think, so it may be different now.

Hm, good question. I haven't played around too much with pineapples, however I did plant them in just their biome and they seemed to do just fine. Though, there could be an advantage in placement depending on temp and nutrients, so you could be onto something if the game registers shadows, but last time I tried to play around with that on my rice, it didn't seem to make too much of a difference. I'd say give it a shot and see if the yield is better or about the normal.
@@EmberDragonGames Normally I would say pineapples aren't something important or needed in bigger number. But I've installed the "Fishing unplugged"-Mod. Even though I modified the recipe a little bit, I kept the pineapples in the recipe and removed the other part but exchanged it by 10 fiberplant for those fish living on plants. I add additional receipe for breeding fish. So the pineapple got a different value. Now I need 1 pineapple for every fish food. So you fast need some hundreds of them. Light and sun doesn't have that much of impact it seems, but by now I can't say it exactly, but trees etc. even grow under streets or bridges if the place they grew is fully enclosed. So now light at all and they still come out again and grow.
@@captain_loeffel that sounds like I pretty cool mod, might to check it out. I never really looked at mods for eco but this makes me wonder what else they have, heh. Yeah, growth is a bit weird at times at where things decide to pop up. Trees that grew next or under to my sky highways always bothered me, lol.
@@EmberDragonGames I prevented some of them regrowing by planting something small there or, fast solution, just make a dirt road at their place. There are a lot of cool mods, but many won't work anymore others are instable. The EM-Mods are gorgeous and the vehicle color mod and the bicycle mod (from the same author also with colors) are even very convenient as everyone gets colored carts and other vehicles (now even a scooter!) and you can identify yours fast. Perhaps we can talk via discord if you are interested. I could even show them to you on our server.

Have you played this since the 10.1 update for 2024? I think the game is a bit better then before. Its like a whole new game.
I have and it’s a great game (love the boats), but I think it’s best with a premade server than the official server. So, I’ll probably revisit it when enough want to play on a community server.

I'm pretty sure with the temperature the only way to change it is the global co2 when the sea level increases
Interesting, so it may not be a good idea to try to do it then because it’s pollution that makes the sea level rise if I’m correct.

Does fertiliser mean we can grow anything anywhere?
Fertilizer just adds more nutrients to the soil to help your crops growth and output. Heh, but man do I wish what you said were true.
