Well said! Digimon feels like a better Pokemon w/ amazing artwork like Yugioh, but minus the wall of text, the strict evolution paths, and a good helping of color deck strategy.
"When will they give us Gunguymon???" We do have Gunguymon, he's just not called Gunguymon, he's called Magnakidmon and he has revolvers for legs. There's also Avengekidmon, who looks like Magnakidmon because he was a Digimon that got so salty that he got beat by Magnakidmon that getting back at him is Avenge's only goal in life now and he does not remember any other part of his life. One thing to note about pricing. The expensive cards that are constantly at around 30 for reg art are all secret rares. So it would make sense that they are pricy. But the good thing about digimon is that out of every secret rare in the current 14 sets, I'd say you only need a playset of around 5 of them. Like that lucemon chaos mode is a 2 of in the deck where it sees the most play.
If anyone wants to play online there is a community that plays on tabletop simulator or on untap (which is free unlike tabletop) those and games via webcam are the options at the moment to play online

I’ll never play it, but the way Digimon handles cost sounds really interesting actually. I think implementing something similar could really balance Yugioh.
I'm a Yugi boomer and miss classic Yu-Gi-Oh before the 6 minute card combos. I finally gave digimon TCG a month ago and I am HOOKED. Not cracked like Yu-Gi-Oh, but faster than pokemon.
I decided to cut back on my Yugioh spending and now you have convinced me to look into a whole new TCG. Great...

Digimon is great, but powercreep is beginning to pick up speed. We now have our first completely splashable staple that's over 50 dollars.
I just ordered an entire Starter Deck for the Digimon Card Game that being the UlForceVeedramon deck on Ebay and it costed around $8.00
