Ultimately this is very handy because if you got a four-cylinder or six cylinder or eight cylinder take a picture of the power probe screen compare them to each other and the one showing significant difference is the one you replace and at $500 each one diagnosis pays for the tool

Great video, I have a question if the injector pintle needle is sticking can it be seen by a variation of these numbers or would an oscilloscope be needed at that point?

can you blow ecu using driver test down the wrong wire? sending 12v down it

We do not send 12 Volts down the wire. The test records the characteristics of the signal present on the wire with the engine running that would normally need a lab scope to obtain. The driver supplies 12 V and will not be harmed if you were to send 12 volt which we don't advise because it is not a viable test

so is the driver test mode pn the pp4 not actually putting 12v to the tip the same as pressing up in vdc mode?
what about if you didnt have a wiring diagram, would it be safe in driver test mode to poke any wire? i assumed it was just putting 12v to the tip without having to hold the button like in vdc mode.
