@@Aircraft_collection I like them all. But I collect cars planes tanks helicopters and recently I bought a aircraft carrier. You can see it in my last video of the Namac event. And I really like to see model trains because of there amazing details.
You don't believe it, I have been there, I bought spare parts and a mini Trix locomotive, they have an enormous collection of locomotives. You can look around and 2 hours is not enough.
I live in Perth Western Australia and when I watched the front of the shop, I have been there.
I planned this year as well to visit but Covid-19 changed everything. Even now It could well be the end of 2021 before the borders open up in Western Australia. keep healthy, keep distance and we will survive. Cheers Robert Veenendaal

We are just lucky to have the coolest dude take us to all these awesome places. I think anybody that isn't even into trains, would really enjoy going to that store. Great channel. I am not into diecast stuff (unless it is of Dodge Cars- call it a family weakness), but I enjoy when your train shop videos come across my suggested list. Only one correction- you called the German High Speed Train an "Ice" train, but you actually have to call it by the individual letters, "I-C-E." Cheers!

I tried to get into the train model hobby at some point, then i saw their prices and run away! Marklin and Kato do offer high quality and detailed trains though. At least watching this is free :)

Zo heb je in Den Haag aan de loosduinsekade De Houtloods zitten als een grote model trein winkel, ook in Vlaardingen de Modeltrein Express waar heel veel uitgestald staat met scherpe prijzen.

Good video,are they HO scale?Like the shop really well displayed.Don't know if it is just me but Markin models look a lot better than Hornby in the UK.Look better quality.
As a follower of a ton of UK OO channels, but a modeler of Märklin and other continental trains, the answer is that Hornby, Bachmann, Dapol and even the smaller UK companies pale in comparison to the German and Austrian models. Hornby and Bachmann may be somewhat less expensive, but you definitely get a lot more pop for your pound (or bang for your buck) with the continental models.
The best train shop in Holland . And whit the best sevice of the world.

I have not tried model railroading in 16 years. I have a bunch of stuff left over from before I moved. A 12 x 15 layout doesnt move cross country well. Perhaps one day... The priices have gone up some. Digital has become very propminent as I had just started with it.
I think when you start using your trains again you won't regret. A man must have a hobby.

These model-trains are no toys anymore, this is high-tech. Some models have 2 motors. Almost every model is full of electronics and sometimes with too 32 different functions. Sound module, light functions and so on and so on.
That's why they have their prices.

Yes Jim Mac, it is expensive, but you should never go to such a store. We at the club, get our articles online from loco-loko.com They use prices according to current value. That quickly means, 30% cheaper than those expensive stores.
Märklin has amazing attention to detail, but there is nothing more unrealistic than their third rail system.
There is something more unrealistic, some of the sounds. Some of the trains would be better off not having sound built in.
Their C tracks are probably the best and most robust tracks I've ever had my hands on.

In Germany a lot of people (most are about 50 - 60 years old) love the model train hobby . But i love model cars only :-):-):-)

Yeah it's a lovely store with friendly knowledgable staff. I have made several buys and conversions of my sons collection by them.
