  • Miru SP EXTREME+ (Cocoa Bomb + Right Path) on BEX, this time without any Buffs or Consumables used! The ultimate Miru SP run.
    (Ehh... I mean the lone Cocoa Bomb doesnt counts since its literally needed to trigger EXTREME+).
    Yes yes I know, "Miru again?" Dont worry, I am done with her after this for a long while. I was just watching videos of other players doing this fight and after seeing these I learned new things and strats from them and...
    Long story short, I got inspired/realized this was actually posible to do. This is the result of the things I learned from said videos (And I also came up with a new strat myself).
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Up until the Cut-In attack, its more or less the same as before. Just needs even better execution and memorization.
    You also absolutely HAVE to avoid getting hit by Miru at all costs. As in, the actual Miru (Alius and Noah dont hit that hard so you can afford to get hit by them a couple of times, no big deal)-
    If you get hit by her more than once or twice before the Cut-In, dont even bother and restart right then and there. You simply wont have enough HP to survive.
    The idea is to end the fight by the time Miru does her unavoidable attack. Yes, it is possible to end the fight by that point, instead of letting her do it 3-4 more times like in my other attempt. We do this by simply hitting her with the hammer (ONLY 1-3 combos, do NOT use drill). You WILL take damage, but its very much worth it (Can easily destroy about half of her HP bar with this) Basically mandatory.
    After the Cut-In, focus on spamming Rainbow Charges (Preferably with the x2 damage modifier from Sliding Powder). Charge your MP back with Green shoots, repeat. Spam this as often as you can, and especially when Miru has Defense Drop. Its not only great for damage but it also will heal you quite a bit. This also does not rely on Amulets, meaning you can let them charge up/use them for more defensive purposes.
    Finally, About the 13:50 attack:
    Since Skills are disabled, I cant really dodge this the same way as I did at the beginning. So I came up with this new method that actually uses Bunny Memories!
    This relies on the fact that you have an odd (Smaller?) hitbox while activating Bunny Memories. For whatever reason, while you are using it, lasers cant hurt you, no matter where you are in the screen, it simply ignores them.
    The Red Rings can still drain your HP though, we cant really afford that since theres No Consumables to recover it back (The usual reason of why I hardly use Bunny Memories)
    But! I happened to find another safespot/route for this that trivializes the entire thing.
    1) Go to the very left corner of the screen
    2) As soon as the laser is about to activate in the corner, start Bunny Memories
    3) Wait until it is about to activate, Cancel it with Amulet. Then Amulet again almost immediately after (Theres 1-2 Red Rings in the way that WILL hit you otherwise) Ribbon may also cast Rainbow Boost for Amulet Cut
    4) Activate Bunny Memories again, this time let it wreak havoc
    5) If you did it all correctly, all you need to do after it finishes, is a simple jump over the last set of lasers
    There, attack is over, and all you lost was 2 Amulets (Less with Amulet Cut) and the 200ish (?) HP loss from natural Bunny Memories usage (Which is nothing compared to the 300+ Damage you would get if you get hit a SINGLE time by anything at this point)
    And thats SP Miru. Theres truly no topping this, as far as I am concerned, so its done!
    Dont mind my Playtime hours... No idea what happened but at some point it got screwed up. I think the game got confused by all these Irisu resets or something.

      Hehe maybe :)
      But really, I think the "intended" version of the fight is the Right Path version(s). Left is intentionally easier and both Extremes are purely for challenge and maybe something of an afterthought. As evidence, all the Level 500+ achievements can be gotten with just Right Path on BEX.
      Miru SP is a pretty hard boss, but I still believe Irisu SP is overall harder.

      Yeah! Thankfully, Rabi-Ribi has a difficulty mode for just about every player out there. And even within each difficulty, the difficulty curve as the game progresses is pretty wide. Base game gets increasingly harder, there is a jump on Order DLC, and then another one for BNA (This one). It works very well in offering something for everyone.
      To be fair, this is what is IMO the 2nd hardest boss fight in the game in the hardest official difficulty mode (BEX) on it’s hardest version (EXTREME+). It naturally has to be really hard with all of that haha.

      @flariz4824  Před 3 lety +4

      Yeah I know about the reference xd.
      Well, this IS the Extreme+ version, which takes longer.
      You literally can’t defeat Miru until the 13 minutes mark, so it will *always* last at least that long.
      If you aren’t on Extreme+ and you know what you are doing (*cough* Purple Boost at 13:50 attack *cough*), the fight will probably be over in 14 minutes.
      If you ARE on Extreme+... well it’s really up to your strategy at that point. But I think the attempt on this video did it reasonably fast all things considered.

    • @flariz4824
      @flariz4824  Před 4 lety +7

      She just continues with the fixed order of her patterns.
      Attacks are the same as the first loop, except all non-Miru segments get replaced by the undodgeable laser attack.
      So in this case, if she wasn't defeated there, she would proceed to do the 4:12 attacks again.
      Some attacks may be a bit more difficult than the first loop but I think that is mostly the first few attacks. They probably did not bother to change up the later ones because they assume most people would either die or beat her before the fight got to that point..
      If you somehow survive the entire thing, eventually instead of doing a loop 3 I believe she just keeps spamming the laser attack until either you or her die. You should't take that long...
      Edit: And since she has Survival while doing that attack, I wonder if it may be literally impossible to win once the fight got to that point...hmm I should investigate this.

    After playing tevi with all the modifier, the fight almost seems... Slow. Some attacks that i remember them for being fast aren't that fast compared to some mid tevi boss. Times changes, the first time i saw miru sp fight, the fight was so fast and the bullet-hell so dense, i thought that in no way in hell i could one day clear it.

    • @flariz4824
      @flariz4824  Před 3 měsíci

      I am still trying to complete Tevi (I dont have nearly as much free time as back when I made this video) and frankly I couldnt help but notice how less dense overall most bullet patterns are (Also how a fair amount of bosses have melee as opposed to raw bullet hell)... then again there is one difficulty above that is locked for the time being. Its very hard to compare anyways since this is a superboss and Tevi is just the base game.

    • @serzaknightcore5208
      @serzaknightcore5208 Před 3 měsíci

      @@flariz4824 Yeah, after rewatching rabi-ribi, i noticed that too. But i guess tevi is more or less in the same state as rabi-ribi when it came out, good by itself, but need more content. The thing with tevi, is that the combat system doesn't really incentivize the same things as rabi-ribi. Tevi fight are more fast paced, and is really focused on damaging the boss when they are not attacking, because if you do, you are almost guaranteed to take damage. I guess if we wanted to compare a tevi boss with rabi-ribi super-boss, the best candidates would be the library bosses. And in some kind of way i guess it's starting to get closer to true bullet-hell.
      Maybe it's also the fact that bullet-hell bosses take around the same time to clear as the starting boss, while in rabi-ribi classic bosses are ridiculously easy when you beated the game once, meaning that while rabi-ribi try-hard is mostly end-game bosses, tevi try-hard is distributed through all the game, easy bosses included

    You weren’t getting hut while using Bunny Memories because you simpley can’t be hurt while using it. Yea, you’ll always take the 200 damage, but during that time nothing else can actually hurt you.

    • @flariz4824
      @flariz4824  Před 5 lety +5

      Oh yes, I was talking more about when you are activating Bunny Memories, not when its already active.
      While you are starting it up, you ARE vulnerable and will take damage- you just cant die so at worst you will end up at 1HP (Less than ideal if you cant use Consumables).
      And the lasers from that attack normally hurt you, but for *some* reason while you are activating Bunny Memories they dont, despite the fact they should by all accounts still hurt you- If you try to hug that corner without Bunny Memories, you will get hit.
      The red rings indeed can hurt you while you are activating it. Thats why I used a couple of Amulets at that point.
      But its good to know each usage is exactly 200 damage (Assuming you didnt got hit), I didnt knew that!
      EDIT: I realized the confusion is my fault because the description is badly worded lol. I will have to fix that...

      @@flariz4824 It's fine about it being badly worded, I could read it fine
      I'd always tried to use it when I had the smallest possible amount of health, so I guess I wasn't aware that you actually did have a hitbox
      Yea you do admitedly take damage, I checked the wiki and the only thing about it was a comment saying: You will lose some HP while doing this move.(8~14 per tick on the BEX, loop 1. This damage will count as hit, so you cannot use this while you're working on your Dodge Master achievements.) Also while you're casting, you do take damage from the bullets, but your HP will never go down to 0. (I remember reading somewhere that it was 200, but when I went and tested it, I was dealt 93 damage (I was playing on hard, and Badges/damage multipliers don't seem to amply), so that may be wrong
      When I checked as well, I saw where Erina's hitbox was like for a moment, and it appeared to be directly in between her breasts, which (if I remember correctly) is a bit higher than normal (from what I remember it's like right on her stomach). That still doesn't explain how you didn't get hit at 14:06 though, so I don't honestly know. They've done something weird to it, but I can't tell what.
