Do battle damage to the flag that way it'll not stick out as much (damage). My friend uses a sewing needle or pin with a lighter for bullet holes as it really does make it look like it was at the front battle lines. The heat also sort of singes the edges and so make them look more real (bullet holes).
Oh just something to keep in mind quite a few soldiers didn't go into battle with full packs as it was just extra weight and sort of hampered their ability to move in certain ways and directions. The only time they all would have them was if they was on a march to a certain destination and the enemy blundered or ambushed them in route, but about 25% would be without in most instances when a battle was coming. Had to constantly remind people when I did Civil War/ War between the states on why some had packs and others didn't during a battle.

@@WarGamingNewbHistorical Yes I say about 3 to 1 ratio would be good rule of thumb. 3 packs and then a bare back

Hey, Mark! Thanks for watching. Love these Perrys. I wish they added more riflemen in the set, but I'll take what I can get. If anything, your best value would be to get the Wargames Atlantic Riflemen set. You'll have more than you'll need after that. I checked the Perrys against the Wargames Atlantic and they're pretty close in scale. I'll have to do a comparison vid.

The 52nd Oxfordshire Lights wore the stovepipe Shako at Waterloo . I mixed in my 95th Rifles into a multi company pack including Warlord and Brigade Games figures

Thanks for the info on the 95th sprue. Wish they had included more in this box, but it's a nice little bonus. I ended up getting the Wargames Atlantic British Riflemen set, so I think I have enough now. Although, the sculpting from Perry is absolutley stunning.
Do they have minis with wings for flank companies?
Hi, appreciate you chiming in. However, I'm unsure if this is the case for this particular set. I do know that Victrix makes minis for Flank companies and they size up pretty well with the Perrys. Thanks for watching!
