@@ishsablack8352 Those in Ghana are calm as compared to some other African countries .
A friend of my dad married a fulanis lady from Niger and they came to settle in Ghana . The mother is not fluent in The Akan language but the children are superm and they have Akan names . You can't even differentiate the children and the fully Akan children . They have good education and jobs in Ghana .
The wife of the vice president is a Fulani
@@frankbediako1372 Wow! That's beautiful. I never knew. There's a small fulani family settlement from where I come from. And man I tell you, they have such a beautiful heart. During every Muslim festival, they'd share food with mamy neighbors. This is what we need in Africa the world as whole. Love, respect for one another, peaceful co-existance with all peoples.
@@immortaltunes6932my family do the same with the Christian’s living in our house every eid we give them food and meats I’m Fulani from Ghana 🇬🇭

Ghana is named after their ancient kingdom gana.Fulani in Ghana is ancient but never settled fully like other tribes
@@Al-bf1no Ghana came from the Soninke people. You're probably thinking of Tekrur, which was an early Fulani/Toucouleur kingdom.

Yes Anaieta!!! Thanks for giving a face to the Fulani in Ghana. Too often, smaller ethnic groups are overlooked so I'm soooo excited to watch this.🤗❤️❤️
Thanks~ I was amazed by their beautiful culture and their hospitality. Although I think most ghanaians are very hospitable
The time and energy you put in commenting negatively about Fulani, was better if you could put it on reading about their culture and history. They’re a part of Ghana whether you like it or not!
@@jamaal01 sadly that’s how Ghanaians abroad are being treated , with these same exact comments
@@jamaal01 why you keep watching then? Why you bother commenting? You’re welcome to leave
@@Anaieta I feel for you, but this is what democracy is about, giving everyone a chance to express their views, even unpalatable ones to an extent. Jamal will hopefully educate himself that we are all one. Nomadic herders have been in Africa before the colonials created artificial borders , their challenge is settler agriculture, their livestock damage farms whist grazing, this leads to conflict, then when they urbanised their adjustments has cultural challenges for them, so it's all about learning about each other, this is why you must take heart and continue to do what you're doing as a new member of our country, there are things you see we take for granted or some do not realise.
Continue what you are doing o
Wow nice video content I'm Fulani from Nigeria
You are the first Fulani from Nigeria I know, very nice to meet you
This is beautiful thank you so much for this!
❤️
Wowwwwww😍, these people are my mom's tribe!!!
This is so beautiful 😍
This is indeed a new movement, Anaieta keep going
Thankss
As you demand that she continue to expend her time, energy, and brain power towards a goal I hope you also are doing the same in your own life.
@@deedamsel-cole2551 Well even if we are currently not doing so, Anaieta is definitely set the pace for us to follow
I am very proud of you all there
I love the nature there and how they are living naturally. I hope too much civilization doesn’t take away all these nature in the future. The air in their environment must have felt refreshing 😊
Things will eventually change 😔 but as for now, the air is soooo refreshing and at this time of the year the weather is very cool too
We have to make the needed changes brothers and sisters.

@@ojoooo7865 don't be surprised. I came across an Akan woman in Canada who didn't know that other languages were spoken in Ghana besides Twi.
I've met Asantes who didn't know they were Akan. People don't even know that Ewes, just like Akans, have subgroups. Ghanaians in general don't really don't know anything about themselves or each other
@@selasedu wow that's sad,,,,coz in our education syllabus we learn about every tribe in ghana,,,and they have to know that especially, moreover Ghana is so heterogeneous that I'm sure every tribe somehow always come across each other in all regions
@@ojoooo7865 there is no need for insult , okay I don’t know and I learn today , and that is exactly what lady is using her platform for ‘education’ so please no need for insult !

Very interesting
New subbie here !!!!
Welcome ~
Where in Ghana are they located?
It's so cool you had Fatmata Binta on the trip. Which area of Ghana was this settlement?
She’s an amazing woman. The settlement is close to Shai hills
Hello i am from Sénégal i like you
The fact that they had to push the car. Ghana
They're nice and have a nice culture. The only problem is when they begin to bring in their heards of cattle and other livestock to invade the local people's farmlands and settlements. And when the locals complain and confront them about it, then these fulanis first reactions are always violence and senseless killings. Their pastorialist and nomadic lifestyle always make them invasive in nature, always trying to dominate and taking over the land and inhabitations of the people who accept and accommodate them. That's the problem with fulani people, and everywhere they settle, it's the same story. It's only a matter of time they begin this same madness in Ghana too. Hopefully they can prove us wrong this time. We know not all fulanis are killers, and there are bad people in every tribe everywhere. But it's just sad what other fulanis are doing to indigenous peoples all across Africa. Maybe we've just not tried enough to learn and understand each other that much. I hope we can have more and more good cross cultural interactions amongst ourselves.
You are definitely a Ibo person writing nonsense
True am a fullani even so, not all but is like a custom us which very bad
@Annietta
Which region in Ghana?
Watching from London l did n
I don’t really know but I know it was after shai hills
@@jamaal01
Go and remove them yourself
This video is one of the best. Thank you for showing us more places in Ghana. Which region are they residing?
Thanks. It was after shai hills but don’t know the exact location since we were taken there by a guide
Lol they have their own vibe😂😂😂,,,I love the way they chill at nights and dance,,,it's almost like a common practice among all tribes in Ghana but sleeping outside , wow,,I would be scared of some random animals attacking my tent,,,you guys were brave,,,personally I will have slept in the hut rather,,,
Hahahahaha! They had a really peaceful environment, we were quite sure nothing would happen. Setting up a tent in nature is a whole different experience, especially in Ghana. you should try it ☺️
@@Anaieta lol alright, but,I will still have to get ride of my fear of seeing may be ghost or some spirits wondering about 😂😂😂,,,,
An jaaraama fulbe
Where in Ghana is this place?
Close to Shai hills
@@Anaieta I own a property around Akuse, but I have never seen this type of settlement. Shai Hills is not too far from Akuse.
All africa people tribes are welcoming not only the fulani tribe!
Fulani and Nadar people have same dna
Period,fulani are not Ghanaians
Anyone can identify themselves to whichever country they want. If they want to say they’re Ghanaians, then they are. You didn’t work hard to earn the title of “ghanaian”. If they’re born there and they’re living there, they’re called Ghanaians , you like it or not
If it’s their nationhood then they are Ghanaian. Ethnically they’re fulani.
@@Crescentcitygoddess fulanis are really not Ghanaians, most are illegal immigrants that cross over the borders
@@averagecasual4801 Hi Jay, i am well aware that Fulani's are not ethnic Ghanians. it's been stated that part of the tribe are pastoral nomads. If a person is born in a nation such as Ghana then they are Ghanian by nationhood, but not by ethnicity.
You should be worrying about the Chinese and IMF taking over Ghana soon.
