Her reasoning for killing that poor dog and goat makes no sense. The fact that she thought that releasing that information was going to have a positive vibe. She committed political suicide. My initial impression of her has diminished exponentially when I heard about the dog and goat. It makes one question even further about how she would handle the old, sick and mentally challenged individuals. "If they're of no use" then would they be killed?
Evidently the dog and goat killings were an "open secret" committed with witnesses years ago. Noem thought to include this in her book before any of those witnesses came forward if she reached high office.

To know that about 95% of all comments about what Noem did are against animal cruelty has warmed my heart. We're a nation of animal lovers and forever will be like that.

It could be Scott, but I think it will be Stefanik. Scott is just too folksy and isn't a fighter. Looking at black men, Byron Donalds is more of Trump's type. He likes people he sees as smart fighters. She's Harvard educated and ripped apart the Columbia college president. The one thing going against her is she's no beauty queen (and Trump seems to value that). If she had Noem's looks I think she'd be a shoe-in. He clearly knows how Palin ruined McCain's campaign in 2008 so he's not going to take any woman that comes across as whacky (MTG/Lake/Boebert/Noem). He will also want them auditioning to make sure they're ready for primetime, something Katie Britt showed she wasn't.

I don't think she's a good choice anyway, but the dog thing is a really dumb reason to reject her. In the scheme of things, a farmer putting down a dangerous dog seems minor.
Its because she wasn’t training her puppy. She called the puppy worthless because it ruined the hunt. Then she takes the untrained puppy to neighbors and leaves it alone back of a truck with a bunch of children’s roaming around. So basically it’s her story telling that’s what’s making her look bad. Also killing the goat because it smelled didn’t do her any favors either

He seems to not like animals, however he signed animal abuse legislation in to federal law. No other president ever did this. I’m not a trump supporter but he actually made animal abuse a federal crime.

2. Trump’s stated #1 requirement for his VP is being the most qualified to advance to the Presidency should it ever be necessary.
3. I also think the best person to be the presumptive nominee in 2028 is vitally important.
