have you considered adding the original bosses playable as well? i mean, i saw that you have made moguera, gezora and titanosaurus playable. But are you going to make the original bosses like varan, hedorah, baragon, gigan and mechagodzilla playable? i would love to play as varan and hedorah and i know a lot of people would love to play as gigan, mechagodzilla and baragon too! please make them playable!!! (i dont think i have to ask you to make the new bosses like biollante and orga playable as well since it seems like you are already doing that.)
Antonis Akamiotakis In JokasDroid's version of this game every kaiju from the creepypasta including angilas and rodan the cut characters from the base game will be playable.
don't forget about the not monsters especially not gigan not baragon not hedorah and the chimera those four are as interesting as they come by in the creepypasta

"Still The Best, 1973" - Finish off the first Red battle with Solomon.
"You Die First, I Insist!" - Defeat the Moonbeast without taking damage.
"You've Reached Quite a Peak." - Get Godzilla's alternate colors. (Make a pile of corpses on Zenith and walk through them. Godzilla will turn a fleshy red color.)
"All That Glitters" - Get Mothra's alternate colors. (Fly into the gold covering device- Mothra will come out golden.)
"Snowballing" - Get Anguirus's alternate colors. (Curl into a ball and roll around in the snow. Eventually, Anguirus will turn snow white.)
"Grew Three Sizes" Get Solomon's alternate colors. (Clear every Heart Temple in Extus with Solomon- he'll turn sea green.)
"TRUE King of Monsters" - Defeat Giant Red without using Acacius. (Better get grinding, buddy!)

"Unforgiving Cold" - Reach Uranus.
"Orbital Oddity" - Reach Pluto.
"Penultimate Defense" - Reach Neptune.

Its so cool that somebody makes a game based on Godzilla NES, its my favourite creepypasta. There is a channel that made music to every music that is described in the creepypasta and its really great. You should ask him if you could use his music for your game, I bet he would appreciate it. His channel name is VectormanOverkill.

That was amazing! I love how you improved the game- no more absurd knockback from Mothra getting hit, enemies exploding instead of being sent flying off screen, and so on, not to mention that simply incredible last level. I can't wait to see more!

Woah, this is SO fucking awesome! Now I really, REALLY have faith in a creepypasta game, especially because of that part with Gezora at the end. The feeling of dread and anxiety as that glitchy-black-hole-thingy kept getting bigger and bigger and almost reaching us... it was so clever.
And the stages... Dude, just for starters, you've basically took the original NES Godzilla - Monster of Monsters first planet and made it better. That's already an accomplishment on it's own.
So take your time making this, man. I'm really looking forward to this, but I don't wanna rush you. Hope you're having fun creating the game and keep up the great work!

As for the music, I recommend you to contact VectormanOverkill on CZcams. He made the whole soundtrack of the creepypasta both in normal version and in 8-bit form. I found his tracks well rendered and sometimes inspired by Goji76 narration. But after all, the choice is yours !
I was obsessed with this creepypasta for a good few months. And I'm amazed that you might seriously give it life. If this project is ever completed that on its own would be amazing. The only thing that would be better is if someone were to make real, functioning NES cartridges of it and randomly seed them into used game stores, with printed labels that make them look like the original game, and removing the bits of text that clearly display it's a creepypasta, so someone might stumble into it and have the real (or as close to it as possible) creepypasta experience!

Yea, it was MURDERING THE IMMERSION of the original. Still, love the development so far.
The title screen is sposed to be like that. It is a creepypasta.

Glad I'm not the only one who feels this way. The intro is altered in a way that removes all subtlety and tension. It's an incredibly cheesy creepypasta trope and I really don't want what otherwise looks like an amazing fan game to fall victim to such an overused, and not at all scary cliché.
I was a bit surprised at the end I wasn't expecting that, I thought you were just going to make the game based on the story and nothing more. but I do like surprises keep up the good work, not to put pressure on you but many people are waiting for this to be finished

I like the level bar and power bar designs, this can be a GOOD sequel to the original game

I love all the little quality of life upgrades like making the game 60fps, Mothra's new special ability (I'm guessing the wing scales will be her kick move instead?) and the fact that there's an EXP bar so you know when you'll level up.

Looks EXCELLENT so far. Enjoying the gameplay changes from both the original NES game and the story. Makes it feel like a "super enhanced" version of the game, even before the creepypasta stuff kicks in. The bit with Gezora at the end is pretty rad also.
To be honest, though, I kind of miss the original Poision Powder from the NES game.

The Poison Powder was not removed, the 4 green projectiles are an EXTRA attack that costs power (B Button).

You have no idea how happy I am to know that this project has not been abandoned. I love the new HUD modifications (the XP meter being the most helpful =3) and how you ACTUALLY made Mothera a good kaiju! However, I do have no idea why you seemingly took out the boss battles and moved them inside of the levels as demonstrated with Glitched Gezora. You're doing an excellent job, but I feel with this feature really does move the project away from the material it's based on. I'm not saying that you should change it, but I'm just saying as a Godzilla NES fan girl. However, this game itself is really getting polished. I can tell that you had put a lot of hard work and love into your game =3
Thanks! The glitchy stage shown in the video has no effect in the story, it's an extra stage available after you defeat Gezora on Mars. The original boss battles will still be in the game.
