  • Stasis dermatitis is a medical condition that causes major changes in the appearance and feel of the skin in your legs. Stasis dermatitis occurs when a pool of blood collects in the veins in the lower portion of the legs. Learn more at: www.miamiveincenter.com/stasi...
Stasis dermatitis is an extremely painful and dangerous condition that only gets worse over time, so it is vitally important to get checked out immediately if you start to experience any symptoms associated with the disease.
The primary symptoms associated with stasis dermatitis are skin discoloration, itching and scaly skin. While your skin may itch, scratching will only make the problem worse. Irritating the skin further with scratching will cause ulcers to form on your already damaged legs.

Stasis Dermatitis is caused through venous insufficiency. This condition can now be cured or at least HUGELY improved. I’m from England and have been through all of this through a DVT only in my 30s caused through the contraceptive pill. I referred myself to a specialist vein clinic in London for a duplex vein mapping scan and then underwent EVLT together with Transluminal Occlusion of Perforators (had four incompetent perforator veins) followed eight weeks later with ultrasound guided foam sclerotherapy. I had to pay £6,000 for these procedures but it was the best money ever spent and I haven’t looked back since 2018.

Well, that didn't really ease my mind or help me know what can be done, lol.

Look it up, there are procedures that can help you, but the tricky part is sourcing the right team of vein specialists. I’m from the North of England, but our UK NHS was incapable of treating me. I had to to travel nearly three hundred miles four times in 2018 in order to under get the appropriate procedures. Although it cost me £6,000 I haven’t looked back since.

Drink two cups of green tea with lemon everyday. You will see a lot of improvement. Rest your legs, above heart level. Include simple exercises for circulation.

Does this ever go away completely or are you stuck with this bacteria?

It’s NOT bacteria. Do a bit of research 🧐

I sat in my room for 8 months. I think that is the cause. That itch is bad. I may have a scar already. I can beat it if I try harder to get my ass off this chair.

You have venous insufficiency which needs to be diagnosed by an Endovenous Duplex Ultrasound Vein Mapping scan.
