    You’re video was educational and to the point. Just perfect. I love how you showed all the days and weeks. Also incorporating the micros with the seed harvest. By the way your English sounds excellent. I can speak only one language and only a few random things in various languages. Your video was edited very well. You and Hiro are my two garden CZcamsrs

    Chia seeds have calcium but also omega-3, something that vegans want and can get cheaply with this seed. In addition, yeah the fiber is awesome.

      Omega 3 in chia seeds is ALA those that vegan missing are DHA I EPA. Although you can converse ALA to EPA and some DHA it's really difficult and 1-3% so you really have to eat it a tones of it. If you are vegan then the best source of DHA and EPA is supplementation,( supps with sea algae)

    I had a bag of chia seed that was out of date at the back of our pantry. I thought i would just throw them into the garden and now its covered in little plants. It was satisfyingly and soft to walk on the seedlings. When and how do i harvest the seeds after the mature?

    I like that you made a point to experiment with 3 types of growing atmospheres. I was curious about the potential growth of them, curious if they were like broccoli or radish microgreen sprouts. I will have to experiment for myself so I can snip em on the go. I assume I might have to have 2 "containers"/statues at a 2 week intervals to get an ongoing 'crop' and enjoy at the same time until the next batch is ready. Thank you for this video, it's value and your time!

    I noticed at around day 5 more or less it looked like white mold at the bottom of the micro greens tray. its happened to me before with some other micro greens, is that a bad thing? should I spray with a solution of H2O2 or vinegar or something else to kill the mold, or is it no big deal that its slowly creeping up on the micro greens? thank you

    • @myalivesoul
      @myalivesoul  Před 4 lety +1

      If you see mold growing you can remove the mold area/diseased area to leave other healthy. Beside that if you wanna use as micro greens just cut the upper top of the tray grow chias and use it or if you want to make a big plant grow them in soil for further growth. Does that answer your question, please let us know. Please check our other videos too. Let us know if you have more queries..

      Roots can look like white mould too. Test by dropping 3% solution of hydrogen peroxide onto the white bit. If the white bit disappears it was mould. If it doesn’t it was root hairs.
      Pasteurize your growing medium first if it keeps happening.

      Pistachio trees grow best and produce the most nuts in an arid semi-desert climate with long, dry, hot summers, low humidity and cool but not frigid winters. During the growing season, pistachio trees thrive on heat. Summer temperatures of around 37 degrees Celcius produce large quantities of the best nuts.

    • @myalivesoul
      @myalivesoul  Před 5 lety +1

      Once you cut the micro green the same plant will not regrow but those seeds and baby plants will grow which didn’t grew earlier taller. That’s why people say they regrow, it’s not the same cutter plant will grow. And it also depends in the type of seed... the maize, wheat generally grows but other doesn’t regrow..!

      How many hours of sunlight, and what soil type are best for it, if planting in a pot, what should be the composition of soil and frequency of watering

    • @myalivesoul
      @myalivesoul  Před 2 lety

      5-8 hours of sunlight, works best with maximum hours of sunlight. sandy soil is best, but they'll do well in clay soils as well. Good drainage is important, however, as chia plants don't like to stay too wet.

    So we won't water the seeds after we put in the box nd cover it until we cut it as microgreens?

    • @myalivesoul
      @myalivesoul  Před 5 lety

      No we have to water them, when the base seems dry... generally every day or every next day you need to water them full. So that they won’t have water problem. They really need a lot of water. And just in few day the sprouts will be ready..!
