    As a Ferrari fan I'm trying not to get too excited just yet, because I know that the most important and deciding part of the season starts at Monza. I really hope Ferrari and Seb will not make the same mistakes that happened last year. Words can't describe how happy I would be if Ferrari could finally manage to bring it home this season. I would go completely crazy I think. Forza Ferrari!

      They probably learned their lessons last season. Both Ferrari and Vettel made silly mistakes. Lets just hope for the best. Hopefully this is the season they comeback.

      SynysterGates-474 Apparently not. Another stupid and very costly mistake by Vettel. He can't handle the pressure and can't drive in wet conditions, this is the sad truth.

    It may be only Vettel and Ferrari along with Hamilton and Mercedes battling for the Driver's Championship, but there are 4 other driver capable of winning races and it's the other teammates and the Red Bull team drivers, and with 11 races still to be won, it's still anyone's game.

      Many people said Bottas defended his position well from Vettel during the closing laps of the British GP. We could argue that it may be the case but I saw it more as Vettel being careful. Probably learned his mistake during Baku. He pushed and locked up and lost valuable places. In British GP, he waited for the right moment to dive bomb Bottas and he succeeded. Ferrari's pace is too strong right now I think. But us F1 fans are actually the one winning right now because of how good this season is turning out to be.

      So disrespectful, especially since Sergio Marchionne died recently. A shame because he would be fucking furious and make a case out of it....
      Maybe the FIA killed him off as well.... who knows.... I remember a time that McLaren-Mercedes stole some information and were rightly punished, but now stealing isn't even necesary, you just get the info handed to you by the F1-killing International Assholes

But i prefer both titles. However Kimi is pretty useless... But if Mercedes again manages to grab both WC-ships i'm done. Then there's no saving.

      To be honest I don't think Vettel's penalty was silly. He did indeed block Sainz. Not that it was on purpose but still a deserved one. And he apologized to Carlos so all is forgiven. I think the race victory in Austria was missed by Kimi and not Sebastian.

      Both Kimi and Vettel's penalties were silly. I mean, what Vettel did to Bottas wasn't even intentional and they'd rather give Vettel a penalty than warning and award Hamilton a warning for his dangerous move at Germany? What the hell are the stewards thinking?
      As for Kimi, that didn't even look intentional to me and they give Kimi a ten second penalty for Hamilton and only a five second one for Vettel and Bottas getting together? The way they do the penalty system is completely bias and favors the stupid ideology known as identity politics. Had Vettel ran into Hamilton he would have gotten a penalty, but if Hamilton ran into Vettel he would only get a warning. The penalty system they use is total bullshit.

      I doubt Kimi will become Hamilton's teammate. There is no way someone with Kimi's ability would play second fiddle to an old rival like Hamilton. I just don't see that happening and Mercedes wouldn't sign Kimi unless he agreed to help Hamilton and I don't see Kimi lowering himself to that standard. Bottas is likely to stick with Mercedes even they don't treat him very well. I believe Leclerc will end up at Ferrari next year unless they decide they want to bring in Ricciardo, because him and Vettel have worked well in the past.

    • @duderama6750
      @duderama6750 Před 6 lety +1

      There would be no difference. Val and Kim are happy number twos. They would play the same role at either team. Just ask them.

    • @nephenthal7275
      @nephenthal7275 Před 6 lety

      Well, Vettel confirmed he is fine with Kimi as his teammate so it's likely he will remain at Ferrari in 2019. Not very many drivers who are actually better than the P1 drivers would want to play second fiddle to Lewis or Sebastian. And those two are not the best two drivers on the track right now.
      To be honest though I doubt this will happen, I would like to see someone else win the championship other than Hamilton or Vettel. Red Bull is the only other one likely, but the car is just not good enough right now to win a championship. The only way I see that happening is if Hamilton and Vettel take each other out in a few races just by now wanting to give any inch so the other has the advantage.

      Because Ferrari offered Leclerc a driver seat as No2 for 2019 season. A contract made for 2 years, ofcourse if he accepts it. Also, most likely it is not down to him to accept it, if you get me :)

    • @TopSecretVid
      @TopSecretVid Před 6 lety

    • @kewiepewie5865
      @kewiepewie5865 Před 6 lety

      Got to be real' honest and admit that I've done no research by myself about the Kimi-Leclerc switch. All I've said so far I've heard by looking around on the enthernet. Some say that Kimi will move to Sauber for 2019 and that move shall serve as the end of his career, bcs you may not know/you may know Kimi started with Sauber and it will be cool(we think) if he ends it this way. Also, people were talking about Leclerc having a seat for 2019 no matter what. Once again I did not really put my real interest into looking after these news but that's what you'll hear so far online about it. Personally I think Leclerc moving to Haas and Kimi staying for at least 1 more year is the best for Ferrari right now, the kid has the talent but he is not a polished diamond yet, he's really quick, he has good race craft but let's not make him crack under pressure at Ferrari in his "rookie" years, although as much as I would like him at Ferrari for 2019, I still like Kimi and I think it's better even for Leclerc to not take this step already. Sorry for the long com :D

    • @TopSecretVid
      @TopSecretVid Před 6 lety

      Kewie Pewie Understood..but my thing is Kimi + Seb + Ferrari work well together. I think there are zero issues between Seb and Kimi on or off track and that is a very good dynamic to have. Unlike Ham and Rosberg which proved very unhealthy at time on track. I generally think they did not like each other despite them saying all is “cool” when they were racing together. That relationship might be a good part of why Rosberg called it quits.. I mean I’m sure there are many other reason as well.. I almost feel bad for Bottas or anyone who has to deal with Ham on a daily basis. I think he is a bit of a spoiled brat and maybe even a bully in team meetings. Someone needs to do a “tell all” interview with Rosberg find out who the true Ham is. Unless kimi is retiring I don’t see him leaving, but then again is always so quiet in general. Ricciardo has the worst of it I think he wants a top team and he will no doubt want to be the No.1 driver of that team. I don’t think he will want to gamble with a developing team to see what he can do etc. he is getting old now with no real “success” if you know what I mean.

    • @kewiepewie5865
      @kewiepewie5865 Před 6 lety +1

      Sorry for taking a bit too long to answer.
      Ofcourse, the Kimi-Seb combo seems to be working more and more better. Also, you might not know that Kimi is usually the one that find the needs of the car in Practice 1 and 2, the setup he manages to get is very often being used by Seb as well because he's not quite there with the setup, so Kimi extracts almost the entire potential of the car. Still, as a Ferrari fan I used to like him, in his McLaren years, I don't know why he did not seem to be such a crying baby. Also I get it, it's a competition and people whine when it doesn't go the way they want, but Hamilton is taking it to an entire new level sometimes. I still kinda like him and I wish he returns to the days where he was actually cool, offtrack and ontrack :)

    yes, strong, but no championship for more than 11 years, very thirsty hungry. the car is as strong as good as the mercedez, hence, what is needed to win the championship? the driver's driving style, skill, maturity, mental and physical handling,
    maturity, mental handling, vettel is not as good as hamilton, because hamilton knows better how to avoid accident, even accident happen, hamilton can get better result at the end of the race than vettel,
    now, vettel got a very good package, a better luck, he must bring the champ ring for ferrari this year, if not? out of the contract.

      I will agree that Ferrari is looking for another Michael Schumacher and when Kimi Raikkonen and Fernando Alonso couldn't fit the bill they decided to look at another German by the name of Sebastian Vettel. Vettel is no Schumacher. He doesn't have that same fire Michael brought to the track and Schumacher was vicious on the track and had the take no prisoners approach like Senna. I doubt you'll find anyone close to his ability again.
      Hey don't get me wrong, I love his devotion to the sport and wanting to be like Michael, but he is nowhere near the kind of person Michael Schumacher was. I know Nico Rosberg tried to attempt the Michael Schumacher role, but that didn't work very well for him in the end. Gained him a lot more hate than love when he left the sport after 2016 and Nico was looking like a Schumacher protege. It's a real shame he didn't stick around longer. I was starting to see both Senna and Schumacher in him and the only thing I didn't like about Rosberg was 2016 Spain.
      I wouldn't count out Max Verstappen this year, but he better step up his game or he'll be left in the dust. He has really been the rising star at Red Bull this year instead of Ricciardo.

      How about Hamilton is a lightweight that prefers torque over horsepower? There is no place for lightweights in the heavyweight class of power. Those who prefer speed over power are lightweights. You think speed wins boxing matches? No, power does. And if you put too much power in a light car and not account for weight distribution you'll wind up airborne. Any car with more power can go to 0-60 faster than the current hybrid class of Formula 1 cars.
      You can have one or the other, but you cannot have both. You either have more torque or more horsepower.
