I really like how Rick respected Michonne’s opinion so much that he’d give in to her suggestions. She wanted to head to DC, so he agreed. She wanted to listen to Aaron and check out Alexandria so they did. Rick told her that he didn’t tell her about his plans to possibly take over Alexandria if the residents couldn’t cut it because he knew SHE could talk him out of it. You could really see their love in S5, but they both still didn’t realize it yet. She wanted to fight the savior’s with Rick, so they did. In the “I can’t lose you scene” Rick tells Michonne that he knows she can lead the people because she is the one that led HIM to that point. That whole time Rick wasn’t the only leader, Michonne was a leader.
Episode 6x10, The Next World, I remember it like it was yesterday. The day my favorite ship went canon, and the day my hormonal teenage brain was blown right out of my stupid acne-ridden head. Back then, being invested in TWD was a source of light during a shit time in my life, and watching you and everyone else talking about the episode the next day instead of paying attention in class was always one of the few things in the week I truly looked forward to. Nearly 10 years later, Richonne is still my favorite TV couple, and The Ones Who Live is bringing back that same comfort and fun, like no time has passed at all. After a long day at work, it’s such a treat to still be able to tune in and engage with the community like I did back then, so thanks for sticking around so long. I can’t wait to see where the show ends up! Wishing u all the best Katie, as well as every other TWD fan reading this. 🧟♂️

Tales, World Beyond and Fear were awful... those are long behind us now Dead City and Daryl Dixon were two huge steps in the right direction and... the spin off we have truly all been waiting for patiently for over 5 years is here this year!!! The ones who live can we just call it what we're all calling it anyway... Rick And Michonne. Can I just pre-order a physical copy now... I have a wall size posters of Michonne and I BELIEVE IN RICK GRIMES! Whem New Year's rolled in it was one of the first things I shouted about and I was surrounded by family...of all them only my 22 year old niece got excited along with me. Phew not alone. Funny but,something I never realized until now my friend is that one thing which appealed to me about this show and other shows and video games like this(Days Gone) is that there's no Upper Class,Lower Class,Middle Class distinction.everyone is on common ground,equal,as it were.

I loved Michonne longer and harder than I loved Rick. I think I actually loved Rick because Michonne did. My early favorite was Glenn. I always liked the light, but Michonne had both light and justice, and gads, was she a badass. I loved her saving Andrea, though Andrea always irritated me. I loved her seeing through the governor. But I truly loved the sleuthing/charity pairing of bringing the formula to the prison, and I adored her and Carl's friendship.
I agree that the season 6 finale was the most talked about cliffhanger. I think a close second is GoT season 5 finale. I haven’t watched the show at the time but I heard so much about that “death” scene.
"Nobody heard the fuckin helicopter?!" Same girl, I had/still have the same thought whenever I rewatch season 1 and see Rick see rhe helicopter flying above the city, you're telling me Andrea and Glenn and all then DIDNT hear that shit? Hmmmmmm OK lol

Well Katie Lori did sleep with Rick and Shane in the same day but also remember Lori and Shane was sleeping to for a while and she was at least two months pregnant bcuz that pregnancy test came up positive fast.

Sorry,realized I didn't finish watching your deep dive all the way.Anywayz,it just seems FAR too long I've waited for the Rick/Michonne Show,Movie,what-have-ya.First it was a movie,then it got delayed,then it was in pre-production,then it was turned into a tv show,then that got delayed.It was like being on an emotional roller-coaster waitin for this.
My thought on Rick and Michonne reuniting, knowing it can come off very strong, or extremely weak, but its something I thought about increasingly over the past 3 weeks - what if, during the time jump from twd season 10 till common day Ones Who Live, Rick, in thinking he will never escape crm and believing Michonne and Judith are fine, gets in a relationship with another CRM soldier. Could be done great. Could be done really bad.
Rick married Michonne. There is zero chance he would betray that by being with someone else even if he thought he wouldn’t see her again especially after what happened with Lori & Shane: Furthermore they’ve also made it clear that Michonne has been completely devoted to Rick. It takes away from the narrative of an epic love story of two ppl desperate to find each other if he’s been content hooking up with some random woman.
It’s so weird how you people fantasize about Rick with any woman but Michonne. Hmm! 🤔 He literally referred to her as his WIFE. Just like Michonne never moved on, I doubt Rick moved on from his soulmate. Sorry! 😂

He may not have but planned an informal marriage when hurt. And by now a settled place like CRM would have official services including for marriage. I saw this go well before in other shows.
