Why wasn’t it cancelled? A tactic that’s common among streaming services (particularly animated shows); order a set amount of episodes and only release about half that way they can get more than one season no matter how good or bad the show actually is. This and viewership numbers of course.

The reason we got a season 2 is BECAUSE so many people hate watched it and they were like “hey! People must like it! Look at the numbers!”
I love how you act like people watching a ton of people react and shit on it as if that was the direct cause of people making it a success and ignore that they went the Winnie the Pooh Blood and Honey route and made something that's not R rated and turned it R rated which is why it got the views to begin with. If this show had nothing to do with Scooby Doo but sucked just as bad then "hate watching" wouldn't have done shit for it.
Again, wrong. They greenlit Season two way before season one was even published. They do it often with shows, greenlighting a season two before they release the first.
Just look at Hazbin Hotel. It was revealed to have a season two before the first four episodes were released.

They CANCLED Our Flag Means Death (a show that had 100,000 people sign a petition to not let it be cancled early)……..And frikin Velma has one of the LOWEST ratting on there channel, universally hated…..And Max was more than ready to give the world more of what they never wished for and deprive it of what we really want!

The idea of Velma offends me a lot more than any other character like her.. They made a childhood icon so disgusting and so vile, like I am Asian like how she is portrayed but the fact they made her bulky, Indian, and just such a bad character is what hurts me the most who is a freaking lesbian, like why. The romance is so bland and so unnecessary. The show is so call for "adults" but it doesn't seem to be having fun with it. It feels like a parody of the Scooby Doo Gang from Family Guy but worst. They also claim this takes place during high school. WTF and they made Shaggy black. What are they gonna say, "oh shaggy just went through an experiment to become white?" The fact they even changed the races too. The first season is an example why the old formula is better. Even if this is an alternative universe, they handled it in such a worst way possible. As a big scooby doo fan, this ain't it.
Warhammer 40k, of all things, bends the knee to DEI/ESG woke horseshit, and this flaming turd gets a second season.
