I find it so unfair that this shit gets second season, but not Inside Job.
Good. It's better that you don't watch it. And people should definitely stop hate-watching this show. It's better to let it die of neglect than to constantly hate-watch it 24/7.
Also, Season 2 was greenlit before the first season premiered, but still. It's better to let it die off of neglect. Good thing the Knuckles show is gonna premiere on the same date.
I bet people are going to watch Knuckles much more than Velma.

If Joe Ruby, Ken Spears, Iwao Takamoto, William Hanna and Joseph Barbera were still alive and saw this shite. They would unleash all hell on Earth.
The news about the weather is more important than Velma getting a season 2. Velma is a prime example of whats wrong with adult animation, letting comedians/stars who know nothing about animation or good writing in general write up shows.
South Park and Bob's Burgers are the only two animated adult shows that seem to still be doing well.
This show flopped so hard during the run of the first season, I'm surprised it even got a second season. Why did the creator think we needed a second season of this horrible show anyway?
Sometimes people are too stubborn to admit defeat. Although I'm genuinely intrigued if they gonna double down or bend under hate to at least attempt something of quality

I hope hate watching stops being a thing. It makes no sense. You are feeding more numbers into their viewing figures. The biggest insult you can give to someones terrible work or project is indifference. Don't hate it. Simply don't care.

I'm just gonna post the comment I just made on the trailer for "Season 2" itself, knowing that "Max" is gonna inevitably disable the comments, but I fell this comment really does sum up the show for me.
"Admittedly the only moment that made me laugh here was when Daphne and Negative-Velma are about to discuss their feelings and tells Fred to "Punch It" and speed off. But other than that, I just don't know. I haven't bothered with "Season 1" since seeing a clip where Velma and Daphne are talking abut how its okay to steal, sell drugs, etc. and Velma says "Those are only White People". I wasn't gonna support a show that's obviously pushing some agenda parading as a "Scooby-Doo" spoof".
I'd so much rather re-watch all of the episodes of Rick and Morty over Mindy Kaling's Velma Series

So there hasn’t been any announcements for season 2 of Hell’s Paradise, Chainsaw Man, Castlevania Nocturne and Zom 100 Bucket List of the Dead as well as no season 3 announcements of Legend of Vox Machina, Jujutsu Kaisen and Spy x Family? And yet Velma, the worst show of 2023, gets a season 2 despite its flop? Thankfully I have X-Men 97 and Delicious in Dungeon to watch once season 2 of Velma comes out.

let me tell you a bit about the first season ahem... it had racism, sheer stupidity, a actual panic attack was horribly done and whilst I thankfully haven't had one I've had an anxiety attack and It was bad so a panic attack would be worse, horrible fucking jokes, "vElMa" kicked her own dad and baby siblings out of their fucking house cause her bitch of a real mom came back, the main character "VeLmA" hated her step mom for no good fucking reason, when Fred's mom was found out to be the serial killer and she got crushed "VeLma" twerked... TWERKED WHILST COVERED IN BLOOD ON FRED'S MOM DESTROYED CORPSE, and plenty more horse shit the likes of which shouldn't have even brought into the dark of night much less the light of day, so if nothing else season 2 is probably just gonna be either worst or more of the same, also if I remember correctly in the first fucking episode the mcfucktitface character insulted the original show
The title is pretty simple to understand what do you need to understand aside from he wont watch it

I have seen a few minutes of Velma and there's no way i'm not gonna watch it. I may enjoy some moments here and there like the voice cast and some of those little moments here and there, but other than that, it is pretty bad.
Why the F did they change the race of a character? Would they ever change a black character and make it white? Yeah think about that one

Harley Quinn is awesome, HBO Max Velma is trash.
As a white person, I was upset with the race swapping.
As someone who likes the artstyle of velma and the premise/set up I'll definitely say the biggest thing about this show isn't the artstyle, or race swapping or even crude humor, it's the horrendous story and character writing. The season 2 trailer looked wayyyy better than the season 1 trailer but it remains to be seen if I'll be better than S1 or any good at all. I'll give it a fair shake- wish me luck😢
