@@Mamaji222Her name was Omayra_Sánchez. Both of her legs were trapped under debris and there was no equipment to lift them up. There weren't even enough shovels. They could cut both her legs off, but that would have killed her even faster.

When I was stationed at DLI in Monterey, CA in 1983, we had beer machines in the barracks on the first floor. There were Pepsi machines, and next to those were the beer machines. You could get a can of Miller and I think it was 60 cents.

It's amazing to hear the stories behind certain images. Not all of them happy endings either. I still think the motorwheel should've been utilised more and looked like a more useful invention out of that time period. Again looking at some of these images...it reminds me of the "Alternate" universe theories from TV shows like "Star Trek" or "Fringe. Did things really happen like that ciggy holder and the two headed dog or was that some weird window into a different world's past?.
