  • Do hardtop headliners actually work? Are they worth the money? In this video I install a set of hardtop headliners from Hot Head Headliners in my Jeep Wrangler.
The headliners reduce noise, insulate from heat and cold, and give the interior a fresh look.
10% off Discount code JKG&G, or JKGG, or just follow the link below and it will be automatically applied!
    hotheadheadliners.com/discoun...
Headliner kits are available for TJs, LJs, JKs, and even the new JLs and Gladiators.
After driving around with the hardtop headliners on, I am convinced that they are worth it, Noise was greatly reduced, temperatures were also reduced, and overall it made the Jeep very comfortable.
Thanks for watching, stay tuned for next weeks video!

For those who haven't tried this product, I HIGHLY recommend getting this. Insulating your Jeep can be one of the best things you can do for your Jeep. I've been running these exact head liners and no other company comes close to how amazing they are. The attention to detail, the quality, and the efficacy of these is second to none! In addition to the insulation, it can also help to amplify your stereo acoustics in the Jeep - especially with the upgraded sound assassin strips! Great video bro and I'm glad you made the purchase. These have been fantastic!

Sounds like you've got a good team around you and things that make you happy, that's about the most we can hope for. Now all you have to do is keep at it until enough time has passed and cancer has lost completely. Nobody ever said cancer was was easy but youve won battles before and you know what you're made of. Living in AZ, this is a must. I'm 6'4", I can feel the heat radiating off the hardtop. I chose jeeptops headliners due to the net and zipper pocket in the front pieces. Also installed the hotheads rear side pieces too. I did the installation with the top off, hanging from my ceiling with a harken hoist, which made the install easy. After a year, I'm very happy with the results. The difference is very obvious. Top of my head no longer cooks.

I had the dealer install the headliner a few months after I purchased my Jeep. It really was night and day difference. It really helped with the acoustics of the speakers along with cutting down on some of the noise. Also to me it made it feel more tight, comfortable and complete on the inside. I recommend a headliner for any hardtop owner.

The sound is reduced and makes the stereo sound much better. As I'm in very northern Canada, I am excited to see how it works as insulation for the interior...certainly make a substantial difference for the heat.

I added duct insulation from Home Depot/Lowes/etc to the roof of my ZJ. It lowered the roof temps by 30 degrees according to my IR thermometer on the inside.
It had an adhesive back and wasn't too hard to install. Then I put in my headliner for a clean install.

But would also like to see the difference in the actual air temps before and after. My Jeep sits in the airport parking lot 100+ days a year so this would help a lot. Thanks again for helping me spend my money!! But 35s still have to be next purchase.

Its parked in a garage when home but sits out in the 110°Sacramento summers and the chilly nights when at work. Stays cooler and retains it when its HOT out and seems warmer in the winter. Get them or don't I really don't care....but they do work well

Bought them after seeing your vid. Installed and the idea is great. Lower sound levels and better temperatures. BUT...... the adhesives used are crap. I followed the instructions and cleaned and sanded the top. The first to fail was the rear. Fell off after a week. Then the sides and finally the middle. I have removed the top on a lift and recreated and sanded. Epoxy applied to the strips. They are now permanent and I am fine with that.

Totally understandable, and just by watching the numbers it doesn’t really seem that impressive. However I will say that it makes a huge difference.
If you ever get a chance to ride in a Jeep that has some, then do it! A video doesn’t do them justice on how well it enhances the interior. The temp difference is there, but not a crazy change though. But the overall noise reduction, paired with temp reduction and the looks really does make it feel like an entire new interior. Hard to explain haha. Well take care and happy 4th! 🤘

Put another overhead molle over the back seats and mount your fire extinguisher to that

just to add to my comment, I use them, but not this brand and today it 90 and the hardtop was at a temp of 180, my inside temp was 150. that a 30 degree difference, but I don't use this brand. I have and ill be honest a way cheaper off brand and used a 500 degree sealant adhesive to install and love it. it really works . just ask me wva jeep community. thanks
