Ankalaev wants to fight in October in the Abu Dhabi card
Alex wants to fight every 3-4months
If Ankalaev was ready Alex was down to defend against him on 301 but Magomed wants to call the shots as a contender
If Magomed was down their fight would already be scheduled by now

Amen! Honestly, though i do think he is, or at least should be, the next guy to get a tittle shot, if he aint willing to fight sooner than that, then yeah - he should be skipped over for Jan or Jiri. I mean seriously, Magomed really has zero impressive wins yet, especially recently. He's lucky Alex has beaten all the other top-tier contenders already, and therefore should be counting his blessings that he'd even being given a tittle shit in the first place! He beat a washed up Thiago Santos, who imo if he hadn't had fucked his knees up so bad in the Jones fight - woulda handily beaten Magomed, (and prolly woulda eventually have won the belt at some pint for that matter), but alas- Santos just wasn't the same dude he was before those injuries. Then after that he killed an even more washed-up Anthony Smith, got killed in the first three rounds vs Jan before handily winning the last couple rounds - giving the fight a draw, then going tit for tat with Walker in the next two fights for the most part, (with the first having should've been given a DQ loss - for having kneed a clearly grounded opponent in the head - which was way harder than what Yan did to Sterling, yet that's how Sterling won the belt). But in their second fight, Walker got starched - but that's not very impressive seeing as how Walker in recent years has developed a glass jaw and as a result is clearly not the fighter he once was just a few years ago. And that was his last effin fight, the only reason he's gunna get a title shot off of a win that was that unimpressive is due to Poatan having beaten Jan, Jiri, and not Jamahal Hill.
With as lack luster of a resume as that is, there's no way in hell he deserves to be the one calling the shots! If he refuses to fight earlier, not only should he be passed over, but it could also potentially prove hat maybe the dude's scared to face Alex and may be using this as a bs excuse to get out of a tittle fight until someone else beats Alex, someone who he's less worried about fighting. I still think he's Poatan's most difficult matchup outside of maybe Jan, but if he's gonna behave like this then he doesn't deserve a tittle shot, plain and simple!

Jan is TOO underrated and his record doesn't do him justice. Very arguably beat Poatan, likely beating Rakic before the injury (it was 1-1 but Jan was outstriking and doing more damage), drew with Magomed (the stats don't even tell the story given how he easily won round 1 and outstruck Magomed on significant strikes but the stats give the significants to Ank) after butchering his leg. Guy's a killer.

Sky diving is for retired fighters. Knees, ankles... nah, don't want to tangle with those problems. The balls? Well... those problems can be tucked into his cup.
    Phishing.
He's such a good interview. Always really straightforward, the ruthless takes behind the jolly humour. His fight against Pereira... it was close. He just needs to stay out of Utah.
