Not only are they both haram, but they are also an unnecessary expense. People wonder why they are broke but won't factor in the money they are wasting on their addiction that is killing them physically and financially.

As the evidence is stacking that vaping kills the opinion of other madahib becomes less and less valid. Muslims are supposed to go where the evidence takes them.

I'm 15 year old boy and i am not muslim yet because i fear that my parents will not be able to accept my choice of path if i tell them, however i do believe in Allah and the religion of Islam although i only have a basic understanding of Islam. I was influenced to vaping by a friend at school and since then i have gone to the extremes of buying personal vaporizing devices for myself however another group of friends that I have who do not vape or smoke guided me and told me that there really is no point in doing it. Since then I have realised my mistake and stopped (decreased drastically at least honestly speaking) vaping. Is there any tips from you for me to avoid and ignore the temptation to vape when i am with my friends at school who do vape as they are still great people with their only bad habits being smoking, vaping and drinking? Is there anything i have to do to get rid of the haram that i have done previously?
Regarding how to resist temptation of vaping. I personally do not have an answer for that since I have never vaped before. Perhaps speak to a specialist? I do have an answer though regarding your question on getting rid of previous sins. Allah said that anyone who converts to islam will have all of his previous sins (even the biggest of sins) completely forgiven. Hope this helps.

Speaking from a purely logical view, Vaping might be better seen as a method to quit smoking to save your life but over time important to decrease nicotine as it is the nicotine that could be seen as bad for you. If you can go straight to nicotine free vape, that is ideal but will require more determination. Bottom line, 8 million people die annually from smoking, if Vaping can save those people we would be foolish to ignore it but shouldn't necessarily see nicotine as good as it is very addictive, like sugar.

You won't jump from a roof and say, "it isn't suicide if I just break my leg and don't die." Some of the flavor of the vapes now. You got choices to pick. You can choose if you wanna have nicotine or none nicotine, also i don't believe that vaping is more addictive than tobacco cigarette. Why? I've seen so many people here in our country who smoke 2 or 3more packs of cigarette. And also i can see the benefits of vaping to the people who wanna stop smoking. But over all for me vaping can't kill a person by smoking it maybe its because of their past smoking tobacco. I respect your opinion sheikh. Thankyou

Guys. I am so hooked on vaping for many years. I vape every 2 mins. But I consider the harm to the person more like in terms of how you are dependent on it and how you are not yourself when you don’t inhale it. How it manipulates your judgement on even subtle things. It may not kill me as fast or as effective as cigarettes do. But the effect to my personality is far more scarier than the incoming danger to my life.
I am in it. I got used to managing it. But I freaking depend on it man. I subconsciously create my life and my decisions based on vaping. For example. What if I run out of juice and every store is closed. What if my device dies and I don’t have money. Having those fears that I willingly choose to have at every hit of vape is utterly ridiculous. A man like myself having to vape to function feels more shameful than the idea of slow indirect suicide by vaping. If I wasn’t addicted to vaping, I would probably go around telling people “ have some self respect man “

So the question is: If smoking 🚬 is haraam, just like drinking alcohol, getting tattoos or being homosexual, why do so many people in Muslim countries still do it? It doesn’t make sense like air conditioning in Iceland
Because modern day Muslim countries do not completely rule by Islam or the sharia, not even Saudi Arabia.

Nicotine has many benefits, one being that it helps raise your testosterone levels. Nicotine is only bad because it is addicting, and it is the smoke and other chemicals that have a negative impact on you. Cigars aren't very bad for you either, because you don't inhale into your lungs, and the tabbaco isn't bad either. Inhaling any type of smoke is bad for you.

And despite what the Sheikh mentioned, there a differences of opinion amongst scholars regarding vaping, because many of the "studies" done on it were financed by Big Tobacco, who wanted to stop out their competition. This issue is multivariable.
