Humpty Dumpty is actually a rhyme about a cannon that fell off a castle wall during a war. It shattered and could not be put back together again. How it was interpreted as an egg man is beyond me.
Just a nursery rhyme from an old kids story book, and humpty was drawn for children and what better than an egg man? Coo coo catchoo!

That's was one of the best horror movies I ever watched !!!!!!!!!! I actually enjoyed watching it!!!!!😆😆😆😆 but I felt bad for the main characters. But that mama had me rollin with the laugh at the end, which turned into a sad face within a split second. These actors and actresses did their thing during this movie. I applaud them for this.

The Mom looks sooo innocent..
At 1st I wasn't expecting much from this. Just a bit slow in the begging but I have to say this was not bad. I give it a 3 1/2 out of 5. Worth a watch.

A very sincere little film! Far better than I expected. I thought the mouth on Humpty Dumpty was a little cheesy, however. In my opinion it would work better if he stayed an ominous figure. The transition from doll to human in costume was incredibly smooth and very impressive. The actresses did wonderfully, and the actor for the mom was especially amazing. She did a wonderful job at playing a sweet adorable mom, and did a great job at concealing the twist. One of the few times I didn’t see it coming!
Humpty Dumpty was obviously never the same again. Poor mom.
1:17:19 probably the best part of the movie. Up until this, we only seen the Hunpty move slowly. Only thing that would made this scene better was if the chair flew backwards from the force. Atleast I made it through this movie. Better than most that comes out now a days. C movie.

That cgi doll at around 1:10:00 was like the worst idea they could put in there, like they could have literally moved a dolls arm with a string? Rigged some eyeballs but they picked the worst possible 3D render when they did not even need her there
Yeah and doll movies happen to be the one genre where it is far better to use practical effects. because.... even the best CGI cant make a doll more realistic than.... A DOLL. In fact some of the reasons why a doll looks scary in the genre is because it does things that in unnatural, a inatimate object moving unrealistically is scarier than a perfectly CGI'd doll. And this is NOT perfect CGI.

its a nice movie, unsure of the poor reviews. Movie is slow burning, unlike most hollywood movie, fast pace, action packed. It's just another genre type, more of thriller, slowly revealing the pl0t as time passes.
Funny that the term "child's play" was used early on in the film, an American movie by that name is about a killer who uses voodoo to transfer his soul into a doll that he found in a toy store as he was bleeding to death after being shot trying to escape from the police.

Finally someone who connects the dots and odds. The daughters found out that the creepy doll is possessed by a demonic spirit and they still carry it up to the mother's bedroom, it seems like an eternal journey since one of her daughter went out, she eventually returns just to find out that her mother was a murderer... Dude leave the freaking house and your mother who you don't trust my goodness. I wish I didn't have to look for this.

The cast is almost the same as Spider in the Attic. Filmed on the same set or so it appears. The lead actress was cast perfectly. Even relaxed, she has a natural look of confusion.

@@ricardorojas3872 well actually dementia and Alzheimer's are not to be taken lightly there was a woman that suffered from dementia and forgot her son lived with her and when he came in late after work she mistook him for a intruder and stabbed him 28 times and there are similar cases like this if someone has symptoms of these then you definitely need to get them help and somewhere were they can be monitored

i found it so sad when the fathers sister was trying to rob the mom, saw humpty on the floor and didnt help him up. she was probs the character i hated the most. also props to the actors they honestly did great 10/10 movie def recommend

Highly recommend this! It's an A grade builder. Scene was set with Dementia, but the plot was not given away. At first you what you believe, is nothing like what you see at the end. The person who played 'Wendy' is an incredibly talented actor. You may need two packets of crisps to enjoy this one. In the dark...👹

Kids don't play with toys anymore or watch tv anyway so they can do this now. Now back then in the 90's those kids played with toys and watched tv so when they made pinocchio out of a horror movie that was wrong because I played with toys and loved the cartoon pinocchio. Now kids just talk to friends and be on youtube and facebook.

Humpty Dumpty rhyme is very ancient. It is not the giant egg as protrayed in the nursery rhyme but a cannon that fell off a castle wall and broke.

It's amazing how the doll becomes fully adult-sized and is suddenly wearing shoes when it moves on its own. They sure do breathe pretty well for being dead people, I must say.
