Why people like to summon deamon. It's not a game at all. If I find myself in a bunch of a friend and they have decided this, it will be without me. I will be too far away from them running far from the place they are doing such things. Ridiculous how in horror movies they are searching
for problems and after trying to get rid of it. Some people are like that in real life doing black magic, incantation and expect that nothing bad is going to happen.
Always watching all conjuring movies. I really love watching suspense movies like this.

Ok the protagonist has some serious acting skills in this movie, like seriously- the scene when she's reuniting with her father again and then introducing him back to her mother is absolutely believable!!!!

I Love Djinn Movies!!!!! Especially "The Wishmaster" from 1997 which was the very first one I've seen and the best ever!!! And the way it ended!!! Just my opinion! 🙂
The girls about to stab her eyes out with a pair of scissors and the mother is Ike watching her for a least a minute then finally she says almost inaudibly and without any conviction “ Jeanie stop “ should be labeled a comedy.

Great awesome and interesting movie.. I was a bit disappointed at the ending when the 'master's' wish was revoked her three possessed friends didn't return to normal. Lesson: "When you dance with the devil you don't get to pick the tune"

Why is it that many of these horrors are 95 % in the dark
It's a low budget movie, yeah.. but, hey, most of those who gave bad comments were actually HAD watched it.. at least, maybe half of the whole 1hrs ++, right..? True, there are some 'low class' scences and all.. but, it's still a movie then.. which all of those who involved in it, had tried their best to make it happened.. and almost everyone here, had watched this low budget movie...
No matter even we had gave a bad comments, laughed at it or whatsoever.. but, it has been produced to be something that we had been watching, just to fill up our emptiness during this pandemic session.. so, just try to appreciate their hard works and get to another film as if we never had had wasted our time to watch something that we actually can't do better...

The protagonist was right about one thing, a djinn isn't a demon. It's a genie. She was wrong about a djinn being an urban legend. Every character in the movie confused folklore and urban legend. When someone says a rat crawled up from a sewer into a toilet, that's an urban legend. Aladdin's lamp was folklore.
Yes rats do that ! It happened to my cousin, she saw a rat in the bathroom. I kid you not, that thing jumped straight into the toilet and disappeared ! Keep your toilet lid down lol

Genies and djinns are both daemons. The demon moniker is a corruption. All these spiritual forms from faeries all the way up to archangels are daemons. There may be some difference in how they are referred to in the local languages where the legends originate, but the term daemon is an accurate umbrella term. I'm not so sure about folklore though, as they are real entities. As such, they could turn up pretty much anywhere, including urban legends, or on the news. If djinns are folklore then so am I, and I do my shopping in the supermarket, just like anyone else does.

I'm glad he did look fake. He was still the scariest thing in the movie. You can't let your guard down just because they look fake. That's an easy way to get lured into trouble. Seems like a typical djinn trick that does.

With a higher budget and a slightly faster pace, this could have been a much better movie. And the correction of some obvious missed opportunities and plot holes it could be possible It’s better than Wish Master even as it is.

Fair teen horror, but just fair. Takes a few liberties with mythology, basically another clone of The Monkey's Paw stretched to feature length.

This movie is about they making a wish with the Djinn and getting it back to its place - the amulet. Reason is the genie possessed them to make things they wouldn't want to. Similar to "Wish Master", one of my favourite horror movies. ☺️
