2:40 whenever I do this it doesn’t rotate the right way, and trowel tool bugs out with those rotations. It worked for me once but now it’s not, I’m even making it face outwards of white team if that’s the issue

Hello! I came across both this tutorial and the wedge one, I used this program to make it into a tree (concave cone base into a cylinder) and i was wondering if you could implement that type of feature into your program, I think it would be a pretty awesome idea!

hi whenever i select the curse and the base with the trowel the whole rotate close and move is all diagonal and it rotates clone and moves at a angle

@@rxny_2315I'm not sure anymore but you have to select it with a normal block next to it then you can move and rotate it fine

I'm trying to figure out how I can do this but on a larger scale like around 160 studs tall and 190 studs in diameter for an airship, and hasn't really been going well for me. Any tips for making much larger sized cones?
Why not just make a small cone then resize it with scale
@@obbyxTV it doesn’t work like that. you can only size one part at a time, and cones are made of many parts.

My pole is in the center and i made my base 1 stud wider but when i dupe, it rotates for some reason. Can someone help?
If youre using a physical keyboard you can hold ctrl key+reclick the base after selecting or after duping. This is to stop the selection box from tilting.

So I started building a cone for my rocket ship, then I realized for the front view side on the purple lines it says to rotate 0.36 and in babft it does not let you change your rotate scale to 0.36 i dont think you can fix this because its a problem for babft but just letting you know (sorry for the long comment)
Haha no worries. I realised it as well. Yeah unfortunately the rotate scale in build tool is limited to 1-90 degrees and we cant do anything about it 😢
this is not true, trowel can go below 1 degree
@@KasherGamer ye trowel can go below 1 degree put it 0.1 and there is a rotate for 0.1 and btw this vid is confusing me am not lieng like what do u mean when u build the pole like does it have to be the height size?
90 - 0.36 = 89.64, use that rotation since trowel tool has a bug thing where in some small rotations it just doesnt give the right exact rotation meaning trowel isnt trustworthy for the sake of the cone
