    The LomoKino is the amazingly cool 35mm movie camera.
    "you can create experimental movies of 144 frames on any 35mm film. Load it with regular color negative, black and white and even redscale or slide films - Then simply wind the advancing crank to shoot"
    Check it out at microsites.lomo...

    If you already own a Fritz The Blitz (as I did - bought with the La Sardinia camera), you'll need the adapter for the LomoKino. If the buy the FRitz The Blilz on its own..it comes with the adaper. Please check the Lomography site to be sure! (Sometimes product configurations change)

    I am pretty sure you can also use a modern LED video light instead of a flash. They sell for about $40 and use AA batteries. The ones with 160 LEDs are quite bright (but you can probably manage with a smaller 120 LEDs). They do have a dimmer dial and various gels/filters. My old Super 8 movie camera had a monster plug-in incandescent light that got really hot and had no dimmer. I wish I had a battery-powered LED video light back then!

    About the wheelchair, that's actually an interesting ancdote from Robert Rodriguez' first film, back in Mexico.

    You can use an LED video light too instead of a Fritz the Blitz flash.

    Fritz the blitz 2 (the black one you mentioned) is fast enough to keep up with a faster frame rate. It's not the same as the original fritz the blitz

    @JPDay1976 Před 11 lety

    I noticed they now offer a fritz the blitz adapter kit similar to what you use in your video. Do you need this adapter? Or can you attach the flash directly to the camera (both on the hot shoe and anchored to the side)?

    Wonder what the strobes would do on phones if set on high strobes. might catch some of the areas that weren't flash (like a cheap slave flash and besides we got plenty spare phones around now

      got a pretty good telescoping (height) wilt tilt bob in 2 directions. want one for more) ,, and things I'm not entirely sure if people wanted a real tilt bob hanger for off amazon for $15 I think it was $23 with the bag. I might have gone for one with the bag but imho it has a handle. And dads old Yashica Electro 35 GSM is not gonna be all that nice with my old one which packs up smaller but is shorter than me even when extended. The so called cheap one from amazon bout my height or taller and just simple (minus the old school what I think is a hanger for an old tilt bob because my grandpa has a drawing of one for surveying off his n*ts.. He was in Iowa's SCS so they did that... well not that smart ass of a drawing , it's so funny dad had it framed. Think the some guys have gotten ladies to do this on certain sites but i think the guys are gonna be in more pain. (actually I know so but arts art ) I'd just assume if one is shooting a video with your cell phone and youtube has a thing for making sure your video is steady the odds of keeping the above steady are gonna be worse .... the Super 8 was better since it had a handle. Now does anyone make a tripod handle and would that work better (3d printed?) preferably the Super 8 handle. thats about the only thing I could see doing things better. But come May 19-23 I'll be taking the tripod probbaly to at the moment it's Golden Gate Canyon ST P. As my aunts pancreatic cancer has come back and I'm checking out a yurt. Was kinda lucky to get one on short notice. I suspect that thing will be warm inside.. But I don't intend to be at her place the whole time. Although I am bringing the Debonair. :) I thought about the Diana + but it lacks a rectangle mask. with the Debonair I can shoot sideways and get this. Who shoots better? well the flash isn't great at night . Not entirely sure how useful that is but it was 1. in a park 2. in the trees and 3 plans go wrong when one doesn't know the area so only during the day once. It wasn't RAINing

    x) Pronunciation of Lomokino is wrong,if it is a russian camera you could at least try to pronounce in an original way, russian way.Lomo Kino not lomo kieno(you need to rough a bit). Kino means cinema.
