@@notchjohnson2540 Of course you don't understand your not a man of means. Men who have money understand their role to take on the financial burden. Those men were raised to treat the women like prizes. Men of means wine and dine their significant other, pay all the bills, getaways trips, medical insurance, gifts ect. Women in a relationship with those men typically take on a more traditional role of taking care of the household such as cleaning, cooking, nurturing the kids, helping the children with the homework, driving the kids to their extracurricular activities. Bill Burr has money and has explained he likes a somewhat traditional household. He treats he's wife like the prize because she is. The money he makes is spent on her. Bill pursed her, he's chased her and went after what he wanted which is her.
This is the nature of the relationships among people. Men have money and they chose their prize, they pick a women best fit for them to pass on their genes and that's if they want kids.
I mean haven't you heard of the term 'trophy wife' that sounds like a prize to me?
There's a clip out there that isn't getting copyright claimed (I am pretty sure) which like Bill Burr and Nia argues about feminism. It is just so funny and just illustrates the two of them would love to see you react that to that one, cheers. As a Bill Burr watcher that actually listens to his podcast most of the time, I had never even seen this clip. Hilarious reaction, the shut the f up pause made me laugh. It's just them though but to have the comfort and balls to say that knowing she knows you're joking and just exaggerating for the podcast is what is so great about these two.

Lol, my wife approached me at work and gave me a business card. I thought she meant business, but not that kind of business. Then she phoned me and we got chatting and I realised this wasn't a business vibe. So, we had a date and next time we met she came round to my place. I was desperate for a pee and went to go to the toilet but it was locked because for some strange reason she decided to take a shower. So I knocked on the door saying, I need to go now, and she was like, "but I'm naked", so I said, "I won't look". And I didn't, because I promised. Then went back to the living room and sat down to watch TV, and she couldn't resist any more and came into the living room and straddled my lap facing me. Actually, I have big rejection anxiety so I avoided it as long as I could but this seems to turn some women on. We dated for 2 years and then got married, almost 8 years ago. We celebrate our anniversary on the day we met.

So I worry that some younger people may think this is normal. I understand bill most likely is being crazier than normal since he’s doing a comedy skit sorta. -- but For example I never heard my parents curse or yell at each other. Not even once. Also my mom wouldn’t allow alcohol in the house. So my dad never drank. Which I’m incredibly great full for having to not deal with that. I would never with my wife as a result of my upbringing. It’s literally just not acceptable for males or females to scream, yell, curse, relationships have to be based on respect and usually locker room talk is very destructive. Every friend I have that allows alcohol in the house they also have chaotic and abusive marriages. Then they get divorced. I’m to the point now I can predict with accuracy who will end up divorced. It will last 10-15yrs I’ve found. It will last awhile but eventually all that screaming and yelling people do it eventually piles up drags the marriage down. But also what part of the country you are in has a lot to do with it. Like i have east coast friends in Brooklyn and queens that have that redneck style marriages where they talk to the wife like a piece of trash. If you find a Real TX Lady they literally won’t tolerate you yelling at them one time and they will leave. It’s just something you don’t do. All humans want love and acceptance so that’s why it’s important to never seen mixed signals because after a few years the wife will reinterpret past conversations.
