    You Will Need:
At least 7 ounces / 200 grams of yarn, in the weight category of your choice. I used 1 skein / cake of Yarn Bee Sugarwheel, #4 Worsted Weight, 355 yards / 325 meters per skein.
US Size K / 6.5 mm Crochet Hook (or a hook about 2 sizes larger than your yarn label recommends)
    Scissors
Yarn Needle or Blunt Tapestry Needle
Gauge: This pattern is written for any yarn and any gauge. However, if you are using #4 Worsted Weight yarn and you want to get the same gauge as mine, I had 12 stitches = 4” (10 cm) and 8 rows = 4” (10 cm) in the stitch pattern. My shawl measures 50” across the top edge (wingspan), and 25” from the top edge to the bottom center point (not including tassels).

I love your video. You explain everything that needs to be know to make a wonderful project and to top it off you don't go at warp speed with your hands or your voice. If I to pick one teacher of crochet, you would be the one Thank you so much!

I love the chainless DC turning stitch trick! It's going to take a bit of practice holding onto the yarn but I love that professional seamless effect! I'm going to make this shawl in a colour that goes with my Mother of the Bride dress for my daughter's wedding! Thank you!

Ok, so this might sound strange. I am always looking for ways to be able to provide without society for whatever reason. Call that whatever you like, my Great Grandmother raised me snapping peas and sewing. She lived through the Depression.
I was looking for a cheap way to get wool then realized that I can just knit it.
Then I found your channel and am extremely impressed. Your continental knitting video took all the daunting, slightly overwhelming feeling of " maybe I am biting off more than I can chew."
So basically saying I have been a rough man all my life and find your channel very educational even for those looking to learn 'back to the land skills'.

Please share what you use to steam block your project, a description and picture would be greatly appreciated! 💜

Hi! I like to lay my project out on an ironing board and hold a steaming iron or garment steamer 2"-3" over the surface of the crochet fabric. Make sure you move the iron around so all of the crochet fabric gets steamed. I then let it cool and dry. This helps the fabric to drape nicely. Hope this helps! Thanks!
