There's dozens of things I could write about what you said: how much it resonated with me; how it made me think about things in my own life; how we spend so much of our lives in fear of the unknown; how much your story inspires me; how few of us truly have purpose or know what we're doing most of the time; or how you absolutely are smart enough, strong enough and tenacious enough to get your degree and accomplish your goals. But instead I'll simply say what keeps coming to mind: I'm proud to know you Kai, you've come so far, and I know you can go so much further.

I'm proud of you for going to college again. Even if it can be scary not knowing what will happen, I know you'll kill it. I think you're smarter than you give yourself credit for and you're not stupid by any means. Putting yourself into college again is the right step to owning a house and planting the garden you want. One thing I've realized is it's ok to not have a purpose until you create one that you're comfortable with. I hope going to college again is the one that you feel safe with even though you're afraid. I'm always here for support and you deserve all the good stuff coming your way
