- After A few upgrades with electronics and tires I took the Talion Out for its first Rip and had a great time with this thing finally and it performed awesome.

Awesome bash. Had the same prob with a loose wheel on the Mojave. Ordered the m2c extended wheel hubs and put 2x17mm nuts on. Did the trick. Cheers

Damn lol, with the shorter wheelbase that thing really spikes the front end to the sky with a throttle blip, the reeper does it but yours is so much quicker to do it lol, love the power combo

It's looking like your almost dialed in!!!! The talion seems like it likes the bigger air the the shocks setup the way they are. It seemed to bounce more on the little jumps. Great video👏🔥💯👍. Glad you decided not to sell it!!!

So much better than that stock spektrum system. I just hate the Spektrum rtr electronics. I removed it from my talion exb and I’m going to put this combo in.
I’m very happy with this system in this car it made such a difference.

Hey man did that max6 combo help with temps at all? I’m still on stock electronics with my Talion EXB, with a huge dual fan 3s powered cooler, and it’s a struggle to keep decent temps here in Phoenix. I know 100+ degrees outside makes it hard to keep any system cool but I’m trying to mitigate it as much as possible
I don’t have any temperature problems with this car and I have no fans on the motor

I've just installed them 6lug hubs... nice bit of kit!👍 - the front hub cap sticks out past the side of the tire though, not sure why m2c did this?
Can't run them yet because it hasn't stopped raining for days😒

I used backflip 4s doesn't stick out at all
I would change all the tires for that type of terrain something bigger like the pro line badlands
I have the 4s backflips on it now. Love them on this rig.
Hey man. Im about to order the same esc motor combo. I think my stock esc is dead after 10 batteries. How do You like that combo? I have the same Talion and Dboots. Im just a Basher and dont need any high speed runs. I just want the POWER

I got permission from the owner of the motocross track before I went out there but The BMX track I go to is in Apollo. It’s a little bit of a hike but it’s a fun place

I've had mine for a week, it's a great platform, but it takes some work to really make it sing. Anyway, my servo died half way through the first pack.. So expect that 🤷♂️

👍 That's what I replaced it with - 30 Kg. It definitely feels solid now.
I also replaced the 4 brass bushings in the steering rack/servo server with actual bearings. Best 5 bucks I've spent on it 👍
And, I'm getting those backflips. Looks like a beast with em 😎

I haven’t had this long enough to say because each of them has their terrain they prefer for sure the Typhon requires a little smoother services.

Seems better for bashing but what about top speed or just speed period is it faster then the stock system I m not a basher I just do speed runs and regular on road driving is it worth upgrading to the max6?
Absolutely way more power and torque. But a speed system I’m not sure about.
Ok thanks for the reply back im new to the rc hobby the talon is my second rc car inthe two months I been in the hobby my first car was the kraton 8s but I'm more in speed the bashing the talon is fast just gotta gear it right just was wondering if I can get a better top speed with the max 6 combo
You will definitely have a higher speed because u can gear this system a lot more then stock.
I had put the 8s esc out the kraton in my talon but didn't really notice a difference from the stock 6s 150a esc that came in it maybe because the store motor was still in it idk I'm still learning but to me it seemed slower but ill try the max 6 combo is their and tips or installation guides u can give about the max6
It’s a really easy system to setup. The book gives u the info on how to set your throttle and the steering and that’s pretty much it.

Well I just tell u this If you think 🤔 you love the Typhon the tlr just gave us a better bulid of a car the drive shaft are the same size but thicker besides the obvious upgrades Soo much tuneability so for people who drag .track .bash you don't know until you meet a car that talks to u this is it coming with one of the easiest tune instructions

You'll have the advantage for sure special the track cus it's drag racing ready all I'm doing is dropping the castle 1520 combo bit for the track I wanted to try spectrum new engine the 1900kv with the 150Amp Smart firma I would give a go specialy a track setup
