- So the day has come for the first GREAT BREAKFAST HUNT in AHMEDAMABAD, GUJARAT. We will walk around the old walled city of Ahmedabad and just follow what will happen. There are different options and we end up in a very famous restaurant, the New Irani Restaurant in the old town. And what do we try there? Let´s go and find out. Great VLOG! The only thing Iranian about these Irani restaurants is that they are operated mostly by Parsis (Zorastrians) or some Muslims (Shi'a and Baha'i ) whose ancestors (hundreds of years ago ) came from Iran. Probably they have some Parsi dishes with very faint resemblance to anything out of Iran having been heavily Indianized!

Usually 5th day is Gujarati New year. We few different new years in different parts of India. Gudi padwa is new year for Marathi ( Maharashtra)

Why is it that, in Malaysia, Singapore, you show the posh and opulent parts of the city, but in India you show the old, tattered, not so pleasing to the eyes areas of all old and dirty parts of the cities. Are you paid to cover only the old and dirty parts of Indian cities and not the opulent and posh areas. Your videos are intentionally made to show the world the undeveloped, dirty and old areas of Indian cities. Why so ?
I show a country as it is. Malaysia and Singapore are wealthy and posh by nature, India is as I show it, in India it is 1 % that has the money, in Malaysia everybody is doing good. If I want to get a place in India that I get in Malaysia it will be very very expensive, in Malaysia it is absolutely affordable for everyone. You have to start loving your country, you cannot expect people to show something to the world that only a small percentage can afford. It is as it is.

But Kuala Lumpur has its own poorer and not so developed areas. 75% of Ahmedabad which is on the other side of the river is mostly middle or upper middle class. The rich or well off to poor ratio now in India is 70:30 now in many areas and there is upward mobility going on.
