This was a 6 month project that came out great. I still have some more to do but goal was to allow birds to free fly all day and have enough things to do so they dont get bored.

Good job. Yes, you made that screened in bird area the right way. It is sturdy enough to use daily but easy enough to remove and put the home back into its regular form very easily, and with minimal repair.

This is so cool! We have a cat in our home, so my lovebird stays in my bedroom at all times with the door shut. But my bedroom doesn't get a whole lot of sunlight, so I was trying to figure out a way to give him a little more open space near the windows. I may have to make some adjustments because of said cat, but this definitely helped me figure out the base steps! :D you did fantastic!

Thanks. Yes, I would be nervous having a bird unsupervised near a cat. Just takes one time. This is not too expensive and works great. Birds never get hurt and can fly all day.

I could never have a cat and bird in the same home. The poor bird has to be shut in a closed bedroom all the time while the cat gets to roam free. It doesn't seem fair. I would only have one or the other, but never both.

Very nice but should of put acrylic or paneling on lower half for debris to stay in the enclosure.

Thanks. I had to leave for a month and glad they could fly every day when I was gone. Without enclosure, too risky

Deveria. Nunca me preocupo com os meus pássaros serem prejudicados ou fugirem, mas eles ainda podem voar o dia todo. Não é difícil e eles ficarão mais felizes

What material did you use for the wire mesh? Been researching that the galvanized and/or welded mesh are not safe for budgies. But stainless steel woven wire mesh is quite pricey.

Yes, home depot galvanized. Couldnt find stainless steel but if you do, please send me the link. I read some people have had issues and others never had. Mine dont chew it or anything so it is a non-issue. They spend most of the time in the center of the aviary.
