The fact that Mihovetz runs in the 5s in the 1/4 with a 4.6, Yandro is killing it in the 7s with a 4.6 + a stick, and now O'Gorman/M2K just went 300MPH(THREE-HUNDRED MILES PER HOUR) in the standing mile with a 5.4[stroker I believe] powered Ford GT - all with mass production cylinder heads & blocks(since the aftermarket ain't shit for these damn things...) is just a bonus!

I have a 97 Mustang GT with almost $3000 just in the engine and a lot of people I see under estimate the 4.6. Shes pretty damn fast. I cant wait till I get it supercharged.

Actually the fastest and quickest H pattern stick shift car in the world is a DSM, a 96 Talon Tsi AWD , it's run 7.04 at 215 mph , 4g63 baby

We were about to go full UPR on my nephew's four-eye notch build, but I just had to give Baseline's 'Outlaw' adjustable geometry stuff a try - I ain't hatin' though, it's not like UPR isn't already proven good stuff!
I had a UPR K member, control arms and coilovers in my black Mustang. The engine sat crooked and the control arms didn't hold up for more than 10,000 miles. It now has full Maximum Motorsports suspension and hasn't had an issue. I sold it to a buddy of mine 7 years ago and he hasn't done anything else to it.

Can’t wait until my car is done! I’ve got a 2008 3V with a single 70 mm turbo. Saving up for my t56 now then the fuel system so I can turn it up on the freshly built motor and see what it will do! Hoping once I get the suspension set up to handle that power that I’ll be able to break into the mid 8s like this badass car!

Well I'm not sure they're the "best", certainly not for drag racing. I agree they deliver the purest driving experience. I will always prefer a car with 3 pedals. It makes me feel like the car is an extension of me. It feels like I'm more connected with the driving experience and more in control.

Not consistently faster, if leroy had a good clean pass on a track this well prepped he would be pulling similar times. Also leroy is still a work in progress lots of bugs still being worked out as they present themselves.
Also lets be real leroy has no body panels lol if he did, he would definitely be deep 7’s
“Less cubic inches” only means something to the person with less cubic inches. They are often the ones who ignore the DOHCs and 4 valves per cylinder too.
And let’s be honest... “less cubic inches” means very little when boost is involved.

The people that point to Mihovetz ignore that he is THE mod motor guru for drag racing; and has been pushing the envelope on them for over 20 years. He was the first with a mod into the 8s, 7s, 6s, and 5s. No one else is even close to his times with a mod motor.
Can anyone name another mod motor that’s run 6s?

But he’s lacking Aero. He either needs to push more power to get that mph up. Or make custom panels for that Leroy. You gotta imagine the wind force of +180 mph. If he fixed his aero I bet he would reach 190 and higher.
