68 Mustang Floor Drain Install

This is 15 minutes of satisfying floor drain install. Haha, seriously tho I've not seen anyone make a video on this as it seems so self explanatory so I decided to make a whole video on it as well as the parts differences between manufacturers. Not all Mustang Parts are created equal.

You should be using mastic on the floor drain really you don't need screws and it will rust the minute you screw it in your will set off paint it from underneath with rust converter

3m strip caulk and butyl is sometimes referred to as mastic. In the video I offer up that seam sealer or bedding compound is a good option too. I had plenty of the butyl rubber caulking which was used all over these cars from the factory. Plus this car won’t see much rain so it should work well for this build. We’re using all stainless hardware where applicable as well.
